especially in today's society. What most people do not know is how open borders could actually

logos to illustrate the major boost the world economy would get if we had open borders. The author
does not provide enough facts to back up the claim the open borders would be a good option. The

easily backed up with many pieces of factual evidence but instead the author chose to use made up
examples and comparisons. From the title of this article you could conclude that this article will be

The health warning could be a warning by the FDA, against cigarettes. This is a more literal
example, because the warning states reasoning behind why someone shouldn't smoke cigarettes.
However, the cigarette companies can have a counterargument, by how they display this health
warning. If it is small and in the corner, they may be implying that this information isn't important, or
irrelevant. Also the verbal warning in commercials could be a counterargument to the argument of
the health warning. Some may see the health warning as a way to show those around them that they
don't care about the risks, and are dangerous. When a cigarette company states these warnings
quietly this could mean they do not think the listener need to know this, or they do not want the

Equality Argument Essay "THE YEAR WAS 2081, and everybody was finally equal." these are
the first words read in the short story, "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut. The story is about
a future where everyone in the world is, "not only equal in front of God and the law", but also
equal in every which way, like knowledge and looks and physical ability. In the story, a couple is

To start, why would equality be so bad? From the first view, equality sounds like a good thing.
Everyone gets equal treatment, pay, etc. But what about when a serial killer gets the same
treatment a veterinarian. How fair would it be for someone who saves animals lives to be treated
the same publically as someone who's murdered, multiple people? After seeing this, equality can
seem fairly split, but there's also a difference, there's equality then there's equity. Equality would be
people treated equal, especially socially and equal opportunities, while equity is definite fairness.
That means people brought down or up to meet the same level. What I believe was exhibited in the
story "Harrison Bergeron", was not equality, but actually equity. This can be seen by them bringing
people down from their abilities or up to meet a standard to make everyone equal. As the story

that means they are bringing some people down to the same level but at the same time not bringing

a trained professional in the psychology field will perform a developmental screening and a

types of arguments we use on a daily basis rarely follow the patterns that we taught you classify

texting while driving is hazardous and very real when Alex Brown, age 17, died due to result of
texting while driving while not wearing a seatbelt. The parents of Alex Brown, Johhny Mac and
Jeanne Brown, appeared in front of an audience of hundreds of Clyde middle and high school
students, to educate young people about Alex's accident and how easily it could have been
prevented. Texting while driving impacts the lives of those around you. A single distraction while
driving, as small and simple it may seem such as texting, can lead to the death of loved ones. Not

Underage drinking, especially under the age of 21, is not allowed in the United States, because it is
unsafe for teenagers. When it comes to health problems and other dangers, alcohol can be taken
under poor situations where it can be overly used or misused. Alcohol is a substance that is very risky
and if used incorrectly or immaturely, the effects can be dangerous to the users and the people
around them. Allowing 18 year olds to consume alcohol would be bad for their health and life.

Lowering the drinking age to 18 would allow more teenagers under the age of 18 to get their
