47. The Changing Online Job Search Past: At first Internet job searching followed a traditional path, employers would post jobs and job seekers respond sending resumes. This was great for the tech savvy job applicant because it was easy to find and respond to job ads quickly. With time others caught on to the Internet so now employers can be overwhelmed with applicants to a position. Employers can be reluctant to post a position. Sometimes even obituaries can be helpful. Research what others in the industry are making Do an information interview with someone at the company to get the inside scoop.
