5. China has the largest population in the world, 1,331,460,000 people, that is four times as many people as in the USA

6. China is the world’s biggest exporter in the world and the second biggest importer after the USA

7. China has world’s second largest GDP of 5,745,133 US dollars That is 15 % of the world’s GDP

8. And yet, China has only been capitalist for 30 years compared to the USA which has been a modern industrial state for 70 years.

9. And yet China is no democracy

10. They have the 4th largest nuclear stockpile

11. They have one of the most controversial human rights record for a modern government

12. I am not suggesting that China will take over the world, but do we want to be dependant on this country?
