The Link between Tourists’ Motivation, Perceived Value and Consumer Loyalty: ...inventionjournals
Several destinations have engaged in extending the film festival to influence potential tourists to make their initial decision to travel. The film festival is considered to be a destination branding tool that requires special attention in order to create tourists’ loyalty to a particular cultural event. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between the motives that influence tourists to travel and participate in a festival, its perceived value and loyalty. A questionnaire was conducted to collect primary data from a convenient sample of international tourists selected for this purpose from 09 to 17 July, 2016. Exploratory factor analysis revealed four motivation factors (relaxation, cultural knowledge, family togetherness and prestige) that influence tourists to participate in the film festival. While structural equation modeling revealed that motivation to attend the festival has an insignificant relationship with tourists’ loyalty, tourists’ perceived value has a significant mediating relationship between tourists’ motivation and loyalty. Limitations, recommendations and areas that need special attention that can increase knowledge in the body of literature in this neglected area were also discussed.

Determining Strategic Value of Online Social Engagementsinventionjournals
Over the past few decades social networking connections through individuals and open publishing in general have rapidly became a popular tool for maintaining relationships, communicating and expanding businesses. Individuals invest hours in building social capital and their social identify (SID) via online engagements. We present a methodology to quantify the multitude of artifacts that can be derived from online social engagements and develop a framework that measures the value of an individual's online social engagements. ASID value is used to deliver a score for each individual user; a score that will assist you in understanding your return on investment (ROI)and social capital from your online social networking activities. The framework creates a score to support and determine which specific engagements add and increase your personal value chain. This score can provide benefit to users for career, personal, and business opportunities.
Education for Sustainable Tourism: A Citizenship Approachinventionjournals
Sustainable tourism is a good option to attract tourism, protect nature, develop the region and preserve the cultural heritage. This perspective demands Human Resources able to assume effective leadership and act to help creating the desired sustainable development. Within the present global citizenship discourse, the ideas that converge most readily are related to responsibility, awareness, and engagement. This study is an exploratory work and aims to point out some clues concerning educational methodology for Tourism. A questionnaire survey was applied, during the scholar year of 2015-2016, to students from two Portuguese Higher Education Institutes and from two different degrees (bachelor and master). The conclusions seem to point out that students are not aware of their professional impact on sustainability, which allowed us to realize that intercultural communication, global knowledge and political matters should be also worked in High Education. Life is changing very fast in our independent world and students must recognize the growing complexity of it. Students also must be equipped with critical and active engagement with the challenges and opportunities of life.

Hoy, ambos viven asi... separados,
