Psychodynamic theory
Sigmund Freud developed a comprehensive theory of personality comprising three interacting parts: the id, ego, and superego. The id operates according to the pleasure principle, seeking immediate gratification. The ego develops to cope with reality. The superego incorporates social standards of right and wrong through ego ideals and conscience. Freud's psychodynamic theory provides a framework to understand human behavior and development through examining early relationships, defense mechanisms, and resolving psychosexual stages from oral to genital.
Horney ppt
Karen Horney was a German psychoanalyst who developed psychoanalytic social theory. She criticized Freud for placing too much emphasis on biology and focusing less on social factors. Horney believed that childhood experiences, such as lack of affection from parents, could lead children to develop basic hostility and anxiety. As adults, people use neurotic needs and trends like moving toward, against, or away from others as ways to protect themselves from feelings of helplessness, hostility, and isolation stemming from their childhood experiences.

3. Psychoanalysis, founded by Sigmund Freud, emphasized unconscious desires and conflicts and believed childhood experiences shape adult personality.
4. Behaviorism, represented by John Watson and B.F. Skinner, rejected studying consciousness and focused only on observable and measurable behaviors.

Erich Fromm (1900-1980) was a German social psychologist and philosopher. He received his PhD in sociology at age 22 and was a member of the Frankfurt School of Critical Theory. In 1933, he fled Nazi Germany for the US. He later taught in Mexico and Switzerland. to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.

accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
