How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

2. Nonrepresentational Art
In this image, created with anger, and calmed is creating two different atmospheres. Anger because
when in the beginning of the drawing, my little cousin was screaming while I was trying to focus on
creating a unique nonrepresentational image. This was in the living room, where I usually focus while
watching tv. Towards the end of the drawing, I found calmness when he had left the living room.
When looking at the image, it shows how the composition stands out with different creativity that has
been created out of anger and in a few spaces its calmed. The elements of design, I deliberately used
different types of line, shapes, and size. In this composition, it shows the types of lines such as
diagonal, vertical, broken, curvy, perpendicular, zig zags and parallel lines. Using lines such as ...

The shapes that were used are geometrical shapes and organic shapes. Geometrical shapes in this
composition are circles, squares, and triangles. By using them to create implied lines this way it would
look different and would stand out from all the other lines that surround the circles. The balanced that
was used in this composition is asymmetrical. Asymmetrical balance, how two sides of the paper aren
t identical. For instance, on the right side of the composition, there is squares and spiral lines but on
the other half of the composition (left side), there is cross hatching and shading. The materials that
were used in this composition are a pencil and a ruler to create a very fine line throughout the artwork.
First, I began drawing the shapes I wanted to add such as the geometrical and organic shapes.
Afterward, used the ruler to create the fine lines to a perpendicular, diagonal, and vertical lines.
Finally, I darkened a few parts of the composition. The idea I in mind about the artwork that I created
is a drawing of just random shapes and lines all in one

Senior Paper
A Study of Computer Programming Although everyone uses it not many people know how computers
and computer programming work. The people who first pioneered the technology are largely left out
of our textbooks although they have had such a large impact on how people now live their lives, it is
not just the recent advancements either, there have been many leaps forward in as many years. In
addition to not knowing who invented these concepts people generally do not know how they work, it
is more simple than many people tend to think. The future of computer technology may be a deciding
factor in how people live in the future, from quantum computing to artificial intelligence. I believe
people should know about computer programming because it has become such a large part of all our
lives. Everyone should know about how it came about, how it works, and where it will go in the
future. Getting information to the reader on computers and computer programming is the purpose of
this essay, so there is no need to cover what one would need to know, as it will be explained. It is a
crime that the people who have worked to create computers, and programming today have little to no
place in the current history books. Although there has been the occasional movie such as The Imitation
Game for the most part the history of computer programming has been criminally under reported. For
some people like Jim Daniels a computer engineer and teacher at

4. The World Wide Web As A Practitioner s Perspective
According to Mark Pallen, The world wide web is the crowning glory of the internet, providing a
uniform, user friendly interface to the net. The world wide web is the system that connects the internet
together, and therefore connects the entire world. Without the interface of the world wide web, the
internet would simply be a collections of ones and zeros, not the place of communication, learning,
and collaboration it is. The world wide web was the most influential improvement of the 1990s
because it globalized government, business, and the public, therefore connecting all aspects of life for
Americans and people around the world even in modern day.
Modern governments require communication, and the world wide web offers this to countries ... Show

With the possibility for public communication through the world wide web, governments also have to
communicate. This newfound communication between governments, in reality, benefits the people
most. In Geoffrey Garrett s report on Globalization and Government Spending around the World, he
argues that the world wide web helps to maintain honesty in the government and its policies, The
common metaphor of a globalization induced race to the bottom suggests that governments are under
heavy efficiency pressures to reduce their economic policy activism to promote competitiveness and
to keep mobile capital within national borders. Now that citizens have access to an abundance of
information, the world wide web acts as a police to encourage the government to treat its citizens
fairly. For example, in many dictatorships today, certain parts of the internet, if not all, are restricted.
These people do not get to use the internet and the communication that comes with it realize their own
conditions are not just. The world wide web calls these governments to remember that the government
is representing its own citizens, and therefore needs to suit its policies to its people. John H. Dunning
calls forth the idea that globalization, especially thanks to the world wide web, calls governments to
change policies to adapt to this new world in his paper, Governments, Globalization, and International
Business, In doing so they

7. Impact Of The Automobile Industry On The Economy Due The...
The automobile industry plays an outsized role in the economy due the industry s cyclicality and the
multiplier effect. For instance, a gearbox is purchased from a supplier that has to employ labor,
purchase raw materials such as, copper, steel, wire, and other related components and services to
support the activity. All of these parts are in turn purchased from other suppliers with costs to support
their businesses. Therefore, as each supplier purchases components and services that they need, an
increasing propensity to consume and invest in the economy raises. For over 10 years, the government
of China had tried to develop a car industry. The government s starting steps included the production
of joint endeavors in which government possessed firms got to be accomplices of remote exclusive
enterprises. The greater part of these joint endeavors were amazingly effective fiscally. Then again,
progressing contrasts in administration inclinations made a consistent pressure inside of the joint
ventures. One of the specific concerns for the Chinese government was to guarantee that its new car
industry would receive the most recent advances in innovations. This subject of innovation exchange,
and how the government of China could best support it, turned into a main issue of concern in China s
car industry. From the point of view of the government of China, Geely s acquiring of Volvo would be

Samantha Talmo

8 August 2016
Research Paper Prison populations around the world are continuing to grow every single day. The
nation s jail population flows like a torrential river with upwards of 12 million individuals moving in
and out of institutions annually (Lyman, 167). The population is continuing to grow in jails because of
the growth in the crime itself. It is debated whether or not nonviolent criminals should be given jail
time. There are other punishments that could be given to criminals that have not created violent
crimes, for example serving community service, being on house arrest and speaking to a parole officer.
Another question that society considers is whether or not in the long run will society itself benefit
from nonviolent criminals not receiving jail time. Society would benefit if nonviolent criminals were
punished in other ways than jail time. Society would benefit since overcrowding in jails wouldn t be
an issue, tax costs would be reduced, and recidivism would decrease as a result. A big issue in prisons
are overcrowding, it was previously stated that 12 million inmates that around the world that is in

10. Libertarian Argument Analysis
Well this question can be answered depending on what s your definition of free and of a modern state .
The primary goal of a modern state is to maintain order while still trying to maintain the happiness of
its citizens and by doing so, society is set up and ran by governments, official, and laws that we the
people are to abide by. To be totally free in my opinion is to live in the means of no one, without any
constitutional right prohibiting you from doing certain things. Now, I m not making the argument that
being free means obeying by no rules and living on the edge. I m just making an ideal assumption that
being free and living in a modern state would only occur if it was substantially less governmental
involvement. To be totally free without limitations would be impossible. It s almost like we live in a
world where we the people are the children of the government and the government as well as the
president is our parents! They let us be adults and be free to a certain extent until they feel as our ...

Ethical and Legal Challenges When Counseling Minors Working with minor clients can be extremely
challenging because of the grey areas surrounding ethical and legal issues. Two major challenges
when working with minor clients are confidentiality and reporting suspected child abuse or neglect.
There are actions taken by counselors to provide the best possible care for the minor client, while
maintaining a therapeutic relationship. As a future counselor, I am aware I will encounter challenges
pertaining to confidentiality and abuse/ neglect, however I understand the need to make an ethical
decision and use the ACA Code Of Ethics to guide me through the journey.

It is essential to work with the parents or guardians of the minor child to have the greatest success in

confidentiality is key. The counselor should state clear and precise roles each the counselor, parent,
and child plays in the therapeutic process (Herlihy Corey, 2015). Counselor can be guided through this
process by using the ACA Code of Ethics Standard A.2.d, which states the counselor acknowledges
the need to balance between the parent/guardian and the minor child. A counselor acknowledges this
code with respect for Standard B.5.d, which states a counselor respects inherent rights and
responsibilities of the parent/guardian over the welfare of the minor client (Remley Herlihy, 2014). It

important not to miss class but, it would be reasonable if there were sort of activity before breaks to
get students pumped up and to release the stress they have been having over homework, test, quizzes,
etc. And not to compare it to our rival school Stanton, they have way more activities and rallies, such
as winter fest and multi for their students and I am sure that they have more activities, yet they are one

Appearance Vs Reality
Anonymity is something that makes mankind feel quite powerful, and in some cases it is to benefit us
in certain situations. Shakespeare s Hamlet is known as one of the greatest plays of all time and,
Appearance vs. reality is a major theme that is consistent throughout this play. In the play Hamlet
there are characters who are behaving and acting a certain way, while in reality their objective and
intentions are the direct opposite. Some of these characters do not realize this until the end of the play.
Most of these characters appear to be candid and sincere throughout the play, while in reality they

14. Emotions And Its Effects On Human Rights
Eliciting emotional responses is often used to extend human rights and can be done without infringing
on existing rights. The legitimacy of these emotional influences depends on their methods, particularly
which emotions are utilized. Patriotism is a necessary start to a movement like this where the aim is to
emotionally bond to strangers and entire separate communities in order to recognize their rights. When
emotions are legitimately used, they won t infringe on human rights because the emotions will modify
a community s collective perception on what their rights are. While some privileges of the wealthy,
high class, and high status would be forfeited, the new emotional connection to other communities
should cause them to value others rights above their own privileges.
Emotions can be used to discourage persons, groups, or institutions that reject or violate human rights
from doing so, perhaps by eliciting their sympathy or respect, or alternatively by generating in them
some form of fear (Gregg 128). The legitimacy depends on how emotions are used. From this divide
of either empathy or fear being the basis for emotionally influenced human rights, only those rights
evoked by empathy will be legitimate. Empathizing with others does more than just allot them rights,
but it actually changes the values of individuals in the community to believe they deserve those rights.
Fifty years ago, the queer community was nearly entirely rejected. Sympathizing with queer people,

The National Rifle Association Interest Group Paper The National Rifle Association is a very historic

was to promote the proper use of rifles and improve marksmanship. The idea of this interest group all
started when the group s first president, Ambrose Burnside who was a Civil War general witnessed
firsthand his own soldiers lacking the ability to shoot straight, so from then on the NRA focused on
hunting, shooting and conservation, and no one thought of it as a gun lobby. (Achenbach, Joel, Scott

17. Eugenics And Its Impact On Human Behavior Essay
In the past, eugenics was a popular science used to improve the human population by selecting
desirable traits and characteristics. Eugenics aims to improve human genetic traits by advocating
sexual reproduction for people who have desirable traits. Current technology and advancement has
made eugenics more popular today than it ever has been in the past. Furthermore, individuals can
personally customize their child s genetic makeup by either eliminating a particular defect or to ensure
that a certain trait is present. This practice, known as designing babies, is a form of eugenics that is
currently happening regularly and many question whether it is either ethical or unethical. Although
there are many positives and negatives to designing babies, many fear that the process will eventually
be abused. Eugenics is an interesting and diverse topic to analyze and discuss, and by immersing
oneself into such a topic, society can understand how to eliminate undesirable traits and deformities
by using eugenics as well as moral objections and concerns. Eugenics is defined as the selection of
desired heritable characteristics in order to improve future generations, typically in reference to
humans ( Eugenics ). Francis Galton, who was a natural scientist, first coined the term eugenics in
1883. Eugenics was influenced by Charles Darwin s theory of natural selection, which supported a
system that would allow the more suitable races or strains of blood a better change of prevailing

Religious Symbolism in A Good Man Is Hard To Find
This paper will present a rhetorical context for the use of violence in the short story, A Good Man Is
Hard to Find, as she presented in her essay The Element of Suspense. The form of classical tragedy in
this story will also be analyzed from the critical theories of Aristotle and Longinus. Tolstoy will be
used to examine the use Christian symbolism. Nietzsche will provide a more well rounded universal
conclusion to the uses of tragedy and spiritual elements in this classic story.

Writing Short Stories, an essay summarizing O Connor s concepts of the elements of good fiction, was
a lecture she gave to a group of creative writing students in 1961. She stated that In good fiction,
certain of the details will tend to accumulate meaning from the action of the story itself, and when this
happens they become symbolic in the way they work ( quot;Writing quot; 807). The use of symbolism
in A Good Man Is Hard to Find created a story which seemed to follow a classic model for tragedy. O
Connor explained I do think, though, that like the Greeks you should know what is going to happen in
the story so that any element of suspense in it will be transferred from its surface to the interior (
quot;Suspense quot; 802). She created a cathartic experience for the purpose of eliciting a degree of
pity and terror from the audience, even though its way of being serious is a comic one ( quot;Suspense
quot; 802).
Elements of foreshadowing, contrived circumstances, and catharsis in A Good Man Is Hard to Find
followed the classic model of Greek tragedy. The use of foreshadowing conformed to Aristotle s
concept of magnitude. He believed that beauty is determined by magnitude and order (Aristotle 47).
The epigraph at the beginning of the story described travelers who must pass by the dragon on their
journey to the Father of Souls ( quot;Good Man quot; 593). The epigraph set the stage for the family s
trip and their encounter with danger.

A farmer is a person who owns a farm and or takes care of it . Farmers normally perform two kinds of
professional activities: one is related with animals and the other with plants. The first one includes all
the process of breeding livestock, such as cattle, sheep, pig and goats. On the other hand we have the

farmers. Seeing a deer crossing happily through the fields is beautiful to see and it is not within reach

giving you freedom for working. Contrary to popular belief, farmers are required to develop their
creativity as they can try to perform new techniques of sowing, for example, or, they can develop new
devices to improve their work. Another important aspect is that your work is going to be different
through the years because every harvest is going to be different from the previous one. Becoming a
farmer will teach a lot of new things, not only about plants and crops, but also you are likely to
become a weather forecast. For example if the clouds of the sky look like stone pavement it is very

increased in size and complexity and national society depends heavily upon a high level of power
system reliability. When the bulk transmission system is subjected to large disturbances there is the
possibility of a system wide blackout due to cascading outages. After a partial blackout or system
breakdown condition, restoring power system is needed and then power needs to be restored as
quickly, stability and reliability as possible and consequently. Outage time after extensive blackouts
depends very much on the power system restoration process. Power system restoration is a very
challenging task to the operator since the situation is so far from normal conditions. This paper

This is a creative essay on Ellis Island, describing life as an immigrant who went to Ellis Island
through first person. All facts and dates are historically correct.
I come from Spain. My name is Carmina Diaz.
I immigrated because of the Cristero War, in Spain. The war was actually a rebellion of the Roman
Catholics in Spain who were persecuted by the government. There were dangers such as raids and the
death toll was growing higher every day. Being a Catholic Christian family who simply wanted to live
in peace, we moved out to escape the war and the persecution that had caused it.

close to others breeds annoyance and irritation, especially towards those others, but I did make a few
friends. There was this bouncy girl, also from Spain, called Carlotta. She spoke Portuguese as well as
Spanish and introduced me to her good friend Sancho from Portugal. We all became friends and
discussed our homelands and topics like school and cultural differences. We were amazed at how
different our lives were. Yet we were friends on board.
Reaching Ellis Island
When the ship finally arrived at America. I was feeling excited yet apprehensive. I felt excited to see
this new world that had been all the talk on the ship. However, worry was practically eating my
insides; where would we go? What would we do? Would wild animals attack us? How would we earn
our living? Would there be savages waiting for us? Where were we landing? Would we be sent back?
What would the people be like? Would I still be able to go to school? Would we have to live off the
land? (If so, I could take Carlotta and Sancho with me)! I could not bear the thought of another few
weeks cooped up in that ship. Of course, I was nervous, and there were butterflies in my stomach, too!

reality. New York had a perfectly

24. Freudian Theory In The Film Inception
1. Throughout the movie Inception, Christopher Nolan utilizes the Freudian Theory to explain the
many experiences Cobb has within his dreams. The most prominent exemplification of this theory is
Cobb repeatedly seeing a subconscious projection of his wife, Mal, within his dreams. After Mal
committed suicide by perceiving herself in an altered state of conscious (a dream) as she was
attempting to wake up from it; Cobb s guilt of causing her accidental death by performing inception
on her led him to flee his children and abandon his previous life in search of a way to clear his tainted
memories.
Despite these attempts, Cobb s guilt infiltrated its way into his own subconscious and projected itself
in his dreams. The Freudian Theory on Dreaming, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The feelings of unfulfilled desires Cobb has are clearly portrayed by the visions of his children that he
abandoned (not entirely thanks to the help of Professor Miles).
The movie Inception portrays the states of consciousness by using the totems the characters had
created to differentiate their altered states of conscious (dreams) from their conscious. Cobb s totem
was a wedding ring that he would be wearing while dreaming and not when not dreaming. The final
scene left off for open interpretation as it did not portray the state of conscious Cobb was in, as his
wife s totem (a spinning top) was not revealed to have toppled (as it does in reality) or continued
spinning (as it does in his dreams).
2. The movie Inception explains how our mind constructs dreams from subconscious thought
processes that are fueled with hopes and ideas for what we our life to be (what Disney defines as
dreams ). An example the construction of a reality within a dream would be The city Limbo that Cobb
and Mal both created together while undergoing inception. Limbo was Cobb and Mal s ideal world in
which they would use figments of their past experiences from reality (Mal s childhood home) to
construct a subconscious

whether value or growth investing has worked best over the long term. In addition this essay will

Value or Growth Investing My Preference Based on my research of the articles listed in my references,
I would have to say that I would prefer to invest in a mix of both value and growth stocks. As an
investor who does not have access to large amounts of capital, it simply makes more sense to purchase
value stocks at a lower price. However, recent trends suggest that growth stocks are currently in the
lead (Bresiger, 2014) so that would influence me to split my investment amongst both styles.
Example of a Successful Value Investor As referenced earlier in this essay, Bruce Berkowitz is
described as a value investor. In fact, he has been considered one of the top value investors and he
won Institutional Investor s 2014 Money Manager of the Year award as was indicated in the article,

26. Traditional Methods Of Managing Personal Income
There are three traditional methods of managing personal income. 1. Budgeting, 2. Keeping a
spending history, and 3. Doing nothing (also known as living from paycheck to paycheck). Budgeting
involves setting what percent of future income is to be spent on which categories of expenses, and
then recording all purchases in order to track how well spending is staying within the predefined
limits. The process sounds very simple, however, it is difficult, in my opinion, to stick with a budget
for very long. The energy and dedication needed to keep track of where the money goes is
tremendous. I ve tried budgeting on several occasions and failed miserably because I couldn t stomach
keeping track of every penny I spent. Traditional budgets also tend to fail because the setting of rigid
spending limits does not lend itself well to being flexible. When unforeseen expenses pop up, a budget
can be rendered useless very quickly. It s my experience that budgets can feel like monetary straight
jackets that are soon abandoned. Spending Histories A Vicious Cycle Keeping a spending history also
involves the recording of every penny spent. The intent is to use the spending history as a basis for
identifying spending habits that can be improved and then making needed changes to future spending
patterns. The main weakness of keeping a spending history is that it is focused on past activity and,
therefore, is of little help when a person is trying to make immediate decisions about

32. Importance Of Purification Of Water Essay
Purification of Water to Save Humanity Thought water is the other name of life, more than billion
people around the world cannot drink clean water. Some of them used to walk for milieus just to fetch
water for themselves and their families. In some places where the supply of water is enough, it is
found most of the time the water is polluted with virus and bacteria which can form deadly diseases.
Not only in the undeveloped countries but also in developing countries water sources are polluted
sometimes. And there s another group that lacks access to abundant, safe, clean drinking water:
astronauts. As astronauts have to take things what they need and they have to reuse and recycle every
dewdrop of water. On the International Space Station, where U.S. Astronaut Scott Kelly recently spent
a year in orbit, specialized technology developed by NASA collects every bit of moisture, including
sweat and urine, and turns it into drinkable water Filtration is the only solution. As all filters are not
equal depending on the expenditure some of them can only drain out dirt and low level bacteria which
are harmful mostly for young children s as the water used to carry a dangerous virus. Luckily the
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) scientists come forward with their best water
filtering technology. In 2000, Florida based Argon ide was working with nanomaterials and discovered
its Nanoceramic fibers had properties that made them excellent as water filters. The main benefit to
the nanofibers was their unusually strong bio adhesively meaning particles, including viruses and
bacteria, were easily attracted to the fibers. When water passed through a filter woven of the fibers,
these particles flocked to the fibers and got stuck there, leaving virus and bacteria free water on the
other side. NASA rewarded the company. The Nanoceramic fibers produce an electropositive charge
when water flows through them. Many impurities carry a slight negative charge and are absorbed by
the filter, explained Tom Smokoff, founder of Water Pure Technologies. Some filters were designed by
using membranes with small pores so

Marriage; what is the first thing that comes to mind? For many its monogamy, but what is monogamy?
Monogamy means that an individual has one spouse at a time (Lancy, 2015) however; in many
cultures monogamy is not the first thing that comes to mind. There are different types of marriage in
fact there are 2 types monogamy as stated earlier and Polygamy. Polygamy has two subsections within
it which are polyandry defined as one wife with two or more husbands or polygyny defined as one
husband with two or more wives (Lancy, 2015). Within this paper there are three groups being
compared and contrasted who all part take in polygynous marriages. The three groups are the Bedouin
Arab men, the Cree and Saulteaux bands, and the Shirazi from the Comoro Islands. Polygyny is quite
complex, it is different for every group and there are factors that must be considered to each group
before going along with a polygynous marriage.

34. Analysis Of The Little Prince
The novel The Little Prince was originally published in 1943. Antoine De Saint was a pioneering
aviator, a prominent aristocrat, poet and writer, and thus the novel; The Little Prince was inspired by
his real life experiences (Sís). He only added a few fictionalized imageries to enhance the merit and
understandability of the book to his audience (Cengage Learning Gale). The book has demonstrated
massive success as it has sold over 140 million copies worldwide translated into more than 300
languages and dialects, and thus becoming the best selling book ever published (Howard and
Mortensen). More significantly, this novel is one of the most key books because of its thoughtful and
introspective nature, and hence bringing hope to human beings. The little prince is one of the children
s must read handbooks with philosophy for grown ups. This is as a result of the book s significant
poetic and optimistic reflections primarily on the existence of human beings (Cengage Learning Gale).
The novel demonstrates the author s practical artistic skills through his lyrical, charming and well
illustrations made throughout the book, sweeping the audience into a whirl hood of childhood fancy
(Saint Exupéry). The Little Prince is a simple book with a combination of satire, philosophy, science,
imagination and childish vivacity that can command the attention of grown ups and children s hearts
and minds.
Through his book, Antoine De Saint Exupery communicates important values that grown ups
overlooks more often in everyday life. The Little Prince is written as a children s novel. However, it be
can analyze at various diverse levels. Therefore, it s important to note that a child or an adult is not
defined by the age, but rather by the state of mind (Weber and Probert). Although The Little Prince is
designed as a childhood novel, it makes several explanations and clarifications regarding human life
and nature, and hence it s optimistic. For instance, The Little Prince is depicted as one of the two
protagonists of the story. Hence, after leaving his home planet and his rose which he adored so much,
he traveled around the world, ending up on Earth. He was puzzled by the behavior of grown ups

the role shifts into ensuring those who follow can take over the operational responsibilities of the
mission. The expert previously described focuses on the people who are now filling the role he or she
once held; this expert now ensures that those following receive the training they need, are mentored in
their roles as a developing leader, and that their accomplishments are dutifully noted, even awarded
when needed. The question of how to be an effective leader is developed as various skills observed
from those who lead before. Whether it is the spelled out leadership philosophy of Captain Byron
Black, Sector Upper Mississippi River who clearly stated Take Care, Prepare, and Execute the
Mission , or the claim that following Maslow s Hierarchy of Needs by Commander Lynn Keopke,
Marine Safety Office Chicago, or the dos and don ts of personal interaction observed from Chief
Boatswains Mate Thomas Wilson, of Coast Guard Station Niagara, leadership characteristics are
developed and refined over time.
2. Once the level of expertise is reached leadership further develops by applying more guidance to
junior personnel, becoming knowledgeable on policy and rising concerns, and really inserting oneself
with the chain of command. A Leadership Philosophy Practices Inventory

37. Black Lives Matter Movement Ideology
Without any credible leaders, it is difficult to discern what the ideology of the Black Lives Matter
Movement actually is, because the author of the website does not necessarily represent the beliefs of
all of The Black Lives Matter Movements. In the case that the above ideology does represent all Black
Lives Matter chapters, this information is disconcerting. As history as shown, social separatism has
not and will not allow for an equal and humane society, but rather, black separatism will create
increased social and political ostracization and disenfranchisement. Perhaps I am biased for my
writings on the Civil Rights Movement, but I personally believe non violent resistance and integration

For some movements, motivation and willpower will simply fizzle out, for others, major leaders will
die and for some, the long series of campaigns and demonstrations will end with widespread change
and victory. In other cases, like that of the Civil Rights Movement, a revolutionary group will gain
power and an increased following and supersede the original movement. The Civil Rights Movement
fell into decline because of the rise of a revolutionary group but fell to an abrupt ending when a
founding leader and a prophet, Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. By April of 1968, the Civil
Rights Movement had already been in decline for a few years and leadership and credibility had
greatly diminished. Any remains of the movement at this point were still alive only because of the
captivating rhetoric employed by Martin Luther King Jr. On April 3, the night before King s death,
King delivered these profound remarks on the progress of the movement and the future to come:
Around the same time, the rhetoric of Black Power activists like Al Cleage was becoming the new
norm in the civil rights world. Cleage proclaimed the following on the goals of the Black Power

38. Switzerland Is The World s Most Competitive Economy
Switzerland is the world s most competitive economy according to the World Economic Forum s
(WEF) Global Competitiveness Index 2014 2015. Some reasons why Switzerland s economy is so
notable is because they have a very skilled labor force of 4.9 million people, a stable political
environment, liquid financial markets, low taxes, a strong domestic purchasing power, a well built
infrastructure, a stable macroeconomic environment and a strong service sector.
Switzerland s gross domestic product (GDP) declined between January and September 2015 because
of the appreciation of the Swiss franc from mid January, the weaker expansion of global trade, and the
domestic economy slowing down. Economic growth in Switzerland is expected to increase from 0.8%
in 2015 to 1.5% in 2016 and 1.9% in 2017. Since the domestic economy has slowed down, the
unemployment rate rose to 3.3% in 2015, making the average in 2016 to 3.6% and is expected to start
falling again to 3.4% in 2017. Financial services contribute to about 10% of Switzerland s GDP and
financial institutions are currently adjusting to a new international regulatory environment.
Switzerland s inflation is low and the Swiss National Bank (SNB) believes inflation will rise to 0.5%
by the end of 2016. The 2017 inflation prediction has predicted to go from 0.4% to 0.3% and Swiss
National Bank anticipates inflation to overcome the 1.0% threshold by the middle of 2018.

39. Disney And Poston Summary
Introduction Despite centuries of contemplation, the topic of soul origination remains divisive within
the Christian community. Recognizing the significant ramifications which follow from
anthropological doctrines, Lindsey Disney and Larry Poston purpose to outline historical Christian
positions of soul ontology, along with examining their implications for contemporary ethical issues.
Disappointingly, Disney and Poston fail to provide any useful insight into the discussion, and this
critique will demonstrate the article s inability to further discussions regarding the origin of the human
soul. Brief Summary Introducing the topic in defining key terms, Disney and Poston begin by noting a
fundamental difference between the origin of life and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Rather than conducting exegetical or philosophical analysis, the authors focus on sociological factors
that may have influenced cultural understanding of anthropology, demonstrating a disregard for
objective truths concerning the metaphysical status of persons. Moreover, although they rightly
encourage compassion in emotionally charged discussions, they also advocate a willingness to
acknowledge a multitude of possible truths, rather than exhorting critical thinking and a passion for
acquiring genuine knowledge. Accordingly, Disney and Poston do not articulate a clear thesis, nor do
they contend for a particular position regarding soul ontology, electing instead to remain agnostic.
Although the authors accurately summarize the traditional Christian positions, they exhibit poor
scholarship during their interaction with the doctrines failing to introduce, consider, or refute relevant
theological and philosophical arguments and objections. Conclusion Unwilling to analyze historical
positions and defend a clear thesis, Disney and Poston fail to provide any useful insight into the
discussion of soul origination. Furthermore, by avoiding meaningful theological investigation,
philosophical analysis, and exegetical considerations, this article proves incapable of furthering
discussions

40. Cause And Effects Of Smartphone Addiction
5 6 7 Introduction: The smartphone is still a fairly new invention and is constantly being developed
and improved. This device has integrated itself into our culture and is slowly becoming essential to
our lives. The younger generation known as Millennials in the age range of 18 35 years old check their
cell phones on average about 75.6 times a day (Soto et al., 2017). This number is exceptionally high
when compared to the older generation who only check their phone around 23 times a day, according
to the same research. This paper will cover cell phone addiction and its effects on the college students
lifestyle. Addiction in this case is tied with the substance use criteria in The Diagnostic and Statistical
Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM 5). In the criteria it states that substance use is a pathological
pattern of behaviors related to use of the substance. Extremely high smartphone use can lead to these
behaviors where dependency is an issue. Symptoms of this dependence include anxiety when away
from the device, social media addiction due to ease of access, and sedentary behaviors (Lepp et al.,
2014). This excessive use is extremely prevalent in the college scene due to how much hinges on their
devices. Social media, school, communicating and entertainment all hinge on the smartphone which in
turn promotes its use creating a cycle that leads to the addiction that most students are oblivious about.
This device has a plethora of effects that range from a decrease in quality academic performance to a
complete disatisfaction with life (Lepp et al., 2015). Can this behavior be able to be controlled or
stopped using the right interventions? The following text will explore the symptoms and effects of
high smartphone usage amongst college students, and see what intervention proves to be the most
effective in solving this social issue. 3 Biological Perspective: Cell phone use produce a lot of stimuli
for the user. Research has begun bringing this to light. There is evidence that shows the relationship
between cell phone use and your neurocognitive functions. New research has shown that Cell phone
usage may be directly linked to your dopamine levels and tamper with your reward center (La Porta et
al., 2006).

41. Pro Choice Vs. Pro Life
Pro Choice vs. Pro Life: Abortion Should Remain Legal Jaelyn Evans Atlanta Metropolitan State
University The controversy surrounding abortion has been long debated since the Roe v Wade case
(1973) as pro life advocates and pro choice advocates go neck to neck on whether the process should
be banned or remain legal. According to APA (American Psychological Association), abortion is the
medical or surgical termination of a pregnancy and is one of the oldest, most common and most
controversial medical procedures . To be Pro Life means to be against the termination of a fetus; one
who is not in favor of the practice. Pro life advocates believe a woman should continue the pregnancy
and deliver the baby no matter the circumstance. Pro choice represents those who believe the woman
deserves a choice to carry the baby or have an abortion. Although the 1973 Roe vs Wade case
legalized abortion, abortion is still currently a much heated debate in America as the surgical
procedure is possibly on the verge of becoming illegalized. However, abortion should definitely
remain legal for various reasons such as individual freedom, victim protection, life opportunities,
failed contraception, and it is not fair for the government to make such crucial decisions for a woman s
life. Pro life advocates argue that personhood begins at conception, though quite contrarily, Sarah Fox
published an article to TheBrainBank science blog in defense of her argument that a fetus does not

The leopardus pardalis, or the ocelot, also known as the dwarf leopard, has been endangered since
1982 and is protected by the Endangered Species Act (FWS, 2010). Ocelots have been declared a
federally endangered species (Tewes, 2001). They are native to South and Central America as well as
Mexico (FWS, 2010). Texas is a far north as the wild cat has been found, but a few have been noted to
have lived in Arizona and Louisiana in the past (Campbell, 2003, Moore, 2013). A feature that denotes
it from other cats is the parallel striping descending down the neck and above the eyes. It is a medium
sized cat with body size resembling the bobcat, weighing between 24 and 35 pounds when full grown

The habitat ocelots require include thick, thorny shrub and deep, fertile clay or loamy soils (Campbell,
2003). Humans cannot walk or see through the dense brush that ocelots call home. The Ocelot once
inhabited regions of Texas to include the Edward s Plateau and Coastal Plain regions. Now they reside
in the Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, San
Patricio, Starr, Willacy, and Zapata counties of Texas. Ocelots require about 95% canopy coverage as

types of soil required for growth of the best coverage and habitat are also coveted by companies
seeking to expand agriculture. An

By this he meant that if they can sell the items the public will buy then the result will be to make
money. If they can satisfy the needs of the consumers then they will receive bountiful rewards. In
Smith s head this system not only makes the baker, butcher, and brewer wealthy, but also the nation as
a whole. When the citizens are working productively to make themselves better then the nation will
prosper too. In today s society the invisible hand theory seems to lead capitalism and free markets
efficiently through controversy of supply and demand for deficient resources, other than for the
benefit of an individual.
The Wealth of Nations argues that division of labor and the specializing in work will yield abundance.
Smith states, It is the great multiplication of the productions of all the different arts, in consequence of
the division of labor, which occasions, in a well governed society, that universal opulence which
extends itself to the lowest ranks of the people . The ideas that Smith presents in The Wealth of
Nations has effectively changed the import and export livelihood. Smith constituted the idea that is
currently known as GDP or Gross Domestic Product and he fought for free commerce.

46. Mrs Parson In George Orwell
Victims of the society have historically always been women. George Orwell deeply explores this idea
by portraying the character of Mrs. Parsons, a woman in 1984, as sad, helpless and oppressed. Orwell
perfectly depicts the battle of being an intelligent woman in 1984 through persona of Mrs. Parsons.
Through her, he expresses the role of a housewife who is unconfident in her actions, with no place for
her opinion in. When Winston greets Mrs. Parsons, she is described as, A colorless, crushed looking

Orwell utilizes the words dreary, whining sort of voice, to emphasize how oppressed Mrs. Parsons is.
Her state of dreariness and complaint is a result of her being aware that she is being oppressed. Mrs.
Parsons is an women with the gift of intelligence, which is lacking in the proletariat group, and she

48. The Importance Of Becoming A Doctor Never Crossed My Mind
Before college and even after my freshmen year in college, I never valued the importance of helping
other people. Back then, I used to think that no matter how hard we try, there will still be people who
need our help. And to be honest, the thought of becoming a doctor never crossed my mind, until the
car accident that occurred during my sophomore year that put me in a coma for two weeks and took
away my brother s life. Being so close to death has not only taught me that life is so precious, yet
fragile, it has also made me realize that this life is not all about me. Fast forward to today, I still feel
thankful for being alive every day and the time I spent in the hospital really helped me realize that it
doesn t matter if we can t help everyone, but what does matter is the people that we were able to help.
After I returned to school, I decided to participate in various volunteer activities to help
underprivileged people, a thing that I never was able to bring myself to do before. It is also when I
decided to pursue a career in medicine, hoping that I might be able to ease the pain of other people.
During the summer after my sophomore year in college, I decided to participate in a program by the
United Nations that provided clinical assistances to a small village, called Tayo in Cambodia. On the
first couple of days, I assisted the doctors with the patient s medical history as well as any relevant
