and other industry leading organizations.
Newspapers are the easiest to get links from, but they tend to be extremely expensive. A simple no-follow link in
some newspapers could set you back by hundreds if not more than a thousand dollars.
Luckily in Eastern Europe it is very easy to obtain links from authoritative newspapers for a fraction of what you
will pay for links from similar highly ranked authoritative newspapers in Western Europe or North America.

Before we get into the ‘how’ I want to show you the results a client had in the dating niche.
The links were deployed at the start of March this year which had an immediate impact on traffic-

Introducing MiraLinks
In this case study I will be talking about the Russian
article marketing system called Miralinks.
Miralinks is very easy to use and a very good tool
where you may find thousands of websites. But what is
the most important is that you can find very trusted
news sites there.
In addition, some of them broadcast articles directly
into Google News…
The main problem is that Miralinks is available only in
Russian and there are no tutorials or case studies
about Miralinks or how to use it in English.
So I’m going to show you how to get around all of
those problems without learning any Russian at all!
Step #1 – Source An Article In Russian
The first thing you need is an article in Russian that is relevant to your niche. This is the article we are going to
insert our links into and submit into Russian news sites.
This task might sound difficult but actually it is really easy by taking advantage of Russian speakers at freelance
websites.
Just head over to Odesk or Elance and do a search for “Russian writer”

3. Really you can use any freelance site you want, as long as they have Russian writers available to hire!
Another example is People Per Hour although they have less native speakers available to hire-
Alternatively you could just write the article in English and use a translation service which could be cheaper.
It is important to note that every article submitted to MiraLinks goes through human moderation so don’t try and
cheat the system with Google Translate or you’ll get caught out.
The Miralinks system requires the article to be at least 2,000 words and with no grammatical errors.
Once the article is written [with a link to your site] we can move to the next step.
Step #2 – Submit The Article To MiraLinks
Since Miralinks is completely in Russian, I will provide all steps with images so you can follow them easily.

4. Creating An Account
Go to miralinks.ru and click register to create a new account.
You will see some fields appear on the right handside which are translated below-
Логин – Login
Пароль – Password
Парольещераз – Repeat Password
Email
Captcha
Once you have submitted the form, check your email and click the link to confirm your registration – simple!
Submitting Your Article
Now we have an account we can submit our article into MiraLinks.
First login to the site with your details-

5. You will see the dashboard. It is very easy to use. At first, you have to create a new project.
You may call it any name you like. For this, click “Добавить проект” and choose “Профессионал”
In the next window that pops up, enter your project name.
You can call this anything you want and yes you can use English here without a problem! This is just for your own
reference.
When you have created your project, click on its name in the dashboard.
Then click “Добавить статью” in the top of the dashboard.

6. In the next window, you can upload your article content and edit it in the way you want it to appear on the news
website.
Here is a list of the required fields-
1. Название статьи – Article Topic/Title
2. Title – Meta Title: The same as the article title
3. Текст статьи – Article content
Now you can just paste your article into the WYSIWYG editor.
Feel free to format it how you like and double check everything looks good.

7. Once you are happy with it you need to submit the article for moderation before it goes into the MiraLinks system.
To do that scroll to the bottom and click “Отправить на модерацию” – send for moderation.
After this, your article will be queued for moderation. Usually it takes 5-10 minutes on Miralinks side to manually
review your article.
Step #3 – Publishing The Article On Authoritative Sites
The final step in the submission process is to select which sites we want our article to appear on. I am going to
show you how to target the newspaper sites specifically.
If you have submitted your article above and then waited for 10 minutes you can refresh the page and go to the
“Принята в систему” page from the menu.
Don’t worry if you do not see this menu. Sometimes it takes longer for Miralinks to review your article and you
won’t see this menu until they have.

8. This will list all of the articles that you have submitted to MiraLinks.
Just select your article and click “На площадку” – Send to the publisher.
Next is the most important part of the process. You must select the website where you want to place your article
and we are going to target the news sites.
You can also play with some other important filters
Do not show new websites
Niche
Keywords
Price (WMZ means US dollars $)

9. In Russian the word “news” translates to “СМИ”
So make sure you select that like I have below-
If you are not sure what to enter for the other filter values, feel free to copy mine below.
These are the exact filters I use to pick out high quality news sites-

10. Now you will see a list of all available websites along with a table of statistics-
1. PR – page rank
2. ТИЦ – similar to Page Rank but for Russian search engine Yandex. If the number is bigger – the site is
stronger.
3. Ссылок – how many links allowed in the article.
4. Цена размещения – Price WMZ in US dollars. Important note – a more expensive site does not mean
that it is higher quality website.
5. Посещаемость – the number of visitors/day
These are the statistics of the domain shown in the example above-
Page Rank – 6
Alexa Rank – 44k
Domain Authority – 67
Site is in Google News

11. You should also use Ahrefs to analyse each site further. According to this experiment, Ahrefs shows 2.27% more
links than its closest competitor Majestic.
Step #4 – Topping Up Your Account
Depending which sites you choose to have your article published on, depends on how much it will cost you.
Remember just because a site has a high price doesn’t mean it is good quality, often the best sites are super
cheap.
The highly authoritative example above costs less than $30 for a placement at the time of writing if you want to
use that as a guideline.
Adding funds to your MiraLinks account is easy, you just need a credit card. There are no recurring payments etc,
just load funds in once then spend them on placements.
To do that go to the “Пополнить счет” menu – “Upload money”
Next in the drop down called In “Способ оплаты” choose “Банковская карта” – CreditCard

12. In the field “Получить на счет” type the amount of money you want to upload. At the moment $30 is around
1990 rubles.
The MiraLinks service also has a 12% fee for their services which will be added to your order.
In the next window, scroll to the bottom and click EN.
The UnitPay service has an English version so it will be easier for you to follow.
In addition, you will see the following window where you must input your credit card details.

13. Once you have completed this process the funds will be added to your account ready for you to spend on link
placements.
You can see your current balance on the toolbar in your account-
Now all you need to do is go back to the search results where we found the example site earlier and click on it.
Then click the blue button “Разместить статью на площадке за [your amount]”

14. Next select the article you loaded into the system earlier and click “Разместить” – Publish
On the next window, it is VERY IMPORTANT to click “Настойки размещения” – Options.
By default, Miralinks also add insurance and social promotion to the price, which is roughly 30% more!
You do not need those so you just uncheck those 2 fields to save a bunch of money-

15. It is now done!
The article is sent to the publisher and within 3 days, it will be published on the site you selected!
Step #5 – How To Get The Live URL
After a few days have passed you can ogin to Miralinks and open your project with the article. If you see green
text that says “Оплачена” – paid; it means that the article is live.
To review the URL, click the article name [on the image above I highlighted the text by red colour] and click the
second field “Размещена на площадке” – published on the website.

16. The links are do-follow and they are lifetime.
It is a great way to get links from high quality websites for not very much money at all!

So there you have it – a brand new source of untapped authoritative backlinks that you can use to increase your
search engine rankings and traffic.
With a bit of translation you can obtain high quality links by looking in a direction most of your competition is not
looking.
In this case, Russian news websites with significant link authority.
The international nature of how link juice flows means you can take advantage of the strong currency in your
country to buy very high quality authority links in countries with weaker currencies at bargain prices!
