condition of the both fluids and evaporator tube detail except its length are specified. here pressure and
enthalpy at discrete points along the tube are calculated by using two-phase frictional pressure drop model.
Predicted values were compared using another different pressure drop model. A computer-code using
Turbo C has been developed for performing the entire calculation

Electric Load Forecasting Using Genetic Algorithm – A Review
Many real-world problems from operations research and management science are very
complex in nature and quite hard to solve by conventional optimization techniques. So, intelligent
solutions based on genetic algorithm (GA), to solve these complicated practical problems in various
sectors are becoming more and more widespread nowadays. GAs are being developed and deployed
worldwide in myriad applications, mainly because of their symbolic reasoning, flexibility and
explanation capabilities.
This paper provides an overview of GAs, as well as their current use in the field of electric load
forecasting. The types of GA are outlined, leading to a discussion of the various types and parameters of
load forecasting. The paper concludes by sharing thoughts and estimations on GA for load forecasting
for future prospects in this area. This review reveals that although still regarded as a novel
methodology, GA technologies are shown to have matured to the point of offering real practical benefits
in many of their applications.
Performance Evaluation of Push-To-Talk Group Communication
Recently the VoIP technology has been used for the purpose of voice conversation through the
Internet since the proliferation of smart phones. In this paper, we are interested in the network performance
of the group communication a.k.a. the push-to-talk (PTT) service. As the media traffic to a VoIP server
increases, the VoIP server can be a bottleneck and the voice quality can be declined, which results from the
asymmetry between the in-bound traffic and the out-bound traffic in a VoIP server. To simulate the voice
packet transfer of the group communication, we use ns-2.34 and the ns2VoIP++ package to calculate the
end-to-end mean opinion score. Simulation results show that both the packet error rate and the packet delay
have a significant effect on the performance in terms of the mean opinion score.
A Chord based Service Discovery Approach for Peer- to- Peer Networks
The document proposes a Chord-based decentralized service discovery approach called Chord4S. Chord4S improves on the basic Chord P2P overlay network by distributing descriptions of functionally equivalent services across different nodes. This improves availability in volatile environments by allowing services to still be discovered even if a node fails. Chord4S also supports wildcard queries to search multiple service categories at once and considers quality of service information during discovery. A Novel Approach for User Search Results Using Feedback Sessions
This document proposes a novel approach to improve user search results using feedback sessions. It first clusters feedback sessions containing clicked and unclicked URLs using the Fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm. It then generates "pseudo-documents" to represent each feedback session cluster. This reflects the information needs of users within each cluster. It evaluates the performance of restructured search results using a "Classified Average Precision" metric. The key steps are: 1) Clustering feedback sessions with Fuzzy c-means, 2) Creating pseudo-documents for each cluster, 3) Evaluating results using Classified Average Precision. Fuzzy c-means allows URLs to belong to multiple clusters, reflecting uncertain user needs.

The prototype uses ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance, a GPS receiver for goal positioning, a GSM modem to change destinations, and a microcontroller to process sensor data and generate motion commands. A neural network running on the microcontroller is trained offline using sensor data to navigate. For real-time use, the neural network's activation functions are approximated for the microcontroller's capabilities.
The prototype was tested navigating autonomously around a university campus, avoiding obstacles and reaching goals. Experimental results showed the neural network approach enabled better navigation performance than other methods.

This document summarizes an autonomous vehicle prototype that uses neural network control and microcontrollers for navigation.
The prototype uses ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance, a GPS receiver for goal positioning, a GSM modem to change destinations, and a microcontroller to process sensor data and generate motion commands. A neural network running on the microcontroller is trained offline using sensor data to navigate. For real-time use, the neural network's activation functions are approximated for the microcontroller's capabilities.
The prototype was tested navigating autonomously around a university campus, avoiding obstacles and reaching goals. Experimental results showed the neural network approach enabled better navigation performance than other methods.

Intrusion detection is the act of detecting actions that attempt to compromise the
confidentiality, integrity or availability of a resource. With the tremendous growth of network-based
services and sensitive information on networks, network security is getting more and more importance
than ever. Intrusion poses a serious security threat in a huge network environment. The increasing use of
internet has dramatically added to the growing number of threats that inhabit within it. Intrusion
detection does not, in general, include prevention of intrusions. Now a days Network intrusion detection
systems have become a standard component in the area of security infrastructure. This review paper tries
to discusses various techniques which are already being used for intrusion detection.
