In Both the Aquatic Uncle and Finding Nemo the plot and main characters revolve around fish and
their interactions with the sea/ocean. Though the main characters of the both stories may be fish they
share qualities and values that we all have or qualities that we know others have. In Finding Nemo the
story is built around Marlon s son, Nemo finally growing up and going to some aquatic exploratory

Hawthorn constantly uses a dash of dramatic irony when Dimmesdale and Chillingworth have a
colloquy for example, in chapter ten the text reads these black weeds have sprung up out of a buried
heart to make manifest an unspoken crime this line is read when Dimmesdale and Chillingworth are

In August of 2002, Toshiba NEC proposed the next generation optical disc format HD DVD
(Williams, 2008). HD DVD (High Definition/Density DVD) transformed the way we view digital
media in the early 2000 s. It was predicted that the HD DVD would be the successor to the standard
DVD format.

Electoral College Should Be Abolished
This country claims to have a democratic government, but that s not the case. We are supposed to
derive our votes from the people, the citizens. Yet, the people who decide who gets to be president are
the electoral college. The electoral college consists people who represent about 500,000 people in their
state. Some states don t have much of a population so it was guaranteed that each state will get at least
three electoral votes. Two being the senators each state has and one being a representative in the
House of Representatives. This was to make sure every state has a fair and equal representation in
voting for the president. The whole electoral system isn t fair. Americans are voting for a president, as
they should, but their vote doesn t count. The citizen s vote is called the popular vote and basically
does nothing because the vote that does matter is the electoral vote. The electoral should be abolished
because it is undemocratic, smaller states are being over represented, and it also hurts third parties.
One of the reasons that we should abolish the electoral college is because it undemocratic. Our
country claims that we are democratic and one of our core ideologies is power to the people. And yet
the people who are living under this government have no say in who s the next leader of the United
