Este documento cuenta la historia de un joven que se graduaba y quería un auto deportivo. Su padre le regaló una Biblia en su lugar, lo que enfureció al joven. Años después, cuando el padre murió, el joven encontró las llaves del auto escondidas en la Biblia, junto con una nota que decía que estaba pagado. El padre sabiamente le enseñó al hijo una lección sobre el verdadero significado de los regalos.

6. Los lugares clásicos que ocupan las pasiones y el pensamiento,
no son ni el corazón ni el cerebro, sino la pequeña glándula
pineal, que es donde se unen y se filtran todas las percepciones
sensibles que llegan al alma y que permiten el movimiento hacia
o en contra de ellas.

8. Una vez un joven muchacho, que estaba a punto de graduarse, contemplaba todos los días el hermoso
auto deportivo en una tienda de autos.
Sabiendo que su padre podía comprárselo, le dijo que ese auto era todo lo que quería. Como se acercaba el
día de graduación su padre lo llamó para que fuera a su privado. Le dijo lo orgulloso que se sentía de
tener un hijo tan bueno y lo mucho que lo amaba. El padre tenía en sus manos una hermosa caja de
regalo.
Curioso y algo decepcionado, el joven abrió la caja y encontró una hermosa Biblia, con cubierta de piel y
con su nombre finamente escrito en letras de oro. Enojado le gritó a su padre diciendo: "¿Con todo el
dinero que tienes y lo que me das es esta Biblia?." Salió de su casa y no regresó más.

9. Pasaron muchos años y el joven se convirtió en un exitoso hombre de negocios. Tenía una gran casa y una
bonita familia, pero cuando supo que su padre, que ya era anciano, estaba muy enfermo, pensó visitarlo.
No lo había vuelto a ver desde el día de su graduación. Antes de que pudiera partir a verlo, recibió un
telegrama donde decía que su padre había muerto y le había heredado todas sus posesiones. Su corazón se
llenó pronto de tristeza y arrepentimiento.
Empezó a ver todos los documentos importantes que su padre tenía y encontró la Biblia que en aquella
ocasión su padre le quiso obsequiar. Con lágrimas en los ojos, la abrió y empezó a hojear sus paginas. Su
padre cuidadosamente había subrayado un verso en Mateo 7:11 que decía textualmente:
"Y si vosotros siendo malos, sabéis dar cosas buenas a vuestros hijos, cuanto más nuestro Padre Celestial
dará a sus hijos aquello que le pidan".
Mientras leía esas palabras, unas llaves de auto cayeron de la Biblia. Tenía una tarjeta de la agencia de
autos donde había visto ese auto deportivo que había deseado tanto. En la tarjeta estaba la fecha de su
graduación y las palabras: "TOTALMENTE PAGADO".

10. Once a young boy , who was about to graduate , every day watching the beautiful sports car in a car dealership .
Knowing that his father could buy it , he said that car was all I wanted . As the day approached graduation his
father called him to come to his private .
He told her how proud he was to have such a good son and how much she loved him. The father was holding a
beautiful gift box.
Curious and somewhat disappointed , the young man opened the box and found a beautiful Bible, leather cover
and with its finely name written in golden letters . Angry shouted to his father saying : "With all the money you
have and what you give me is this Bible ?. " He left home and never returned .

11. Many years passed and the young man became a successful businessman. He had a big house and a nice
family, but when he learned that his father, who was old, was very ill, she thought visit. I had not seen since the
day of his graduation. Before I could see it from, he received a telegram saying that her father had died and he
had inherited all his possessions. His heart was filled with sadness and regret soon.
He began to see all the important documents that his father had and found the Bible at that time his father
wanted to give away. With tears in his eyes, he opened it and began flipping through its pages. His father had
carefully underlined a verse in Matthew 7:11 saying quote:
"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will our heavenly Father
give their children what they ask him.“
As I read those words, a car key dropped from the Bible. I had a card from the car dealership where he had
seen the sports car he had desired so much. The card was the date of graduation and the words: "PAID IN
FULL".
