This document is a response brief filed by the defendants (Dismas Charities, Inc., Ana Gispert, Derek Thomas, and Adams Leshota) in response to the plaintiff's (Traian Bujduveanu) motion to strike the defendants' response brief to the plaintiff's motion to compel discovery responses. The defendants argue that the plaintiff's motion to strike should be denied because the defendants properly responded to all discovery requests. The defendants also argue that the plaintiff provides no valid legal basis to strike the defendants' response brief and is simply attempting to argue the merits of the case rather than the discovery issues. The defendants request that the plaintiff's motion be denied and sanctions be granted against the plaintiff.

1) The defendants filed a response in opposition to the plaintiff's motion for summary judgment in a lawsuit brought by a former federal inmate against a residential reentry center and its employees.
2) The plaintiff violated conditions of his release from federal prison by driving a car and possessing a cell phone. He was then transferred back to federal prison to serve the remainder of his sentence.
3) The defendants argue that the plaintiff cannot maintain any causes of action against them because the federal Bureau of Prisons, not the defendants, made the decision to return the plaintiff to prison for his violations of rules. Therefore, the defendants should be granted summary judgment.

Far too many New Jersey residents experienced the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. This Guide, prepared by Patrick Parker Realty, is intended as a reference to those affected by the Superstorm. The victims of Sandy face a wide variety of financial, housing and legal issues, and here we attempt to survey those issues that arise most often. Although this Guide cannot explore all issues completely or touch on every point that may arise, we have made considerable efforts to determine what issues are most relevant to the victims of the Hurricane and its aftermath. Please note that this information is current as of January 1, 2013 but by the time you read this material, the federal, state and county governments may have adopted additional measures to assist victims of Sandy.
We realize this Guide cannot answer all of the questions you undoubtedly have in the wake of the Superstorm. Rather, it is intended to identify the issues that many victims will need to consider, and to point you in the right direction. You may need to contact federal, state, city or county officials, local aid organizations, or even seek legal representation in order to obtain more specific information about your individual concerns.

Advanced Storytelling Concepts for MarketersEd Shimp
Every marketer knows you’re supposed to tell a story, but do you know how to tell a story? Do you know why you’re supposed to tell a story? Do you even truly know what a story is? While many marketing presentations emphasize the value of mythic storytelling, the nuts and bolts of actually constructing a story are never explored.
The goal of marketing may be to achieve specific KPIs that drive sales, which is very objective, but the top of the marketing funnel requires a softer approach. In our data-driven results-oriented fast-paced world, marketers must quantify results, but those results will never be achieved unless prospects are first approached with humanity.
There is a common misunderstanding that the so-called “soft skills” of marketing such as language and art are unmeasurable and subjective, but while the objective measures of market research are merely 100 years old, the rules of aesthetics have been perfected over the last 2,500 years.
Great story construction is a skill that requires significant knowledge and practice. This presentation will be a review of the ancient art of story construction.
We will discuss:
• Rhetoric – The art of effective communication
• The Socratic Method – You cannot teach, but you can persuade people to learn
• Plato’s Cave – You sell products, but you market ideas
• Aristotle’s Six Dramatic Elements – The secret recipe for marketing stories
This is for senior marketers who are tasked with creating effective narratives or guiding others in the process. By the end of the session, attendees will have gained the knowledge needed to work storytelling into all phases of the buyer’s journey.

I themed this deck using Baldur's Gate 3 characters: Gale as Search and Astarion as Social
