This document proposes a road safety monitoring system using a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, an IR camera, a Harr Cascade classifier for object detection, and a GSM module. The system is designed to detect accidents on roads using computer vision, and then send alerts via the GSM module to notify authorities so that immediate rescue efforts can be initiated to save lives. It works by integrating the IR camera with the Raspberry Pi, training an object detection model using the Harr Cascade classifier, and detecting positive and negative images to identify accidents and alert authorities through the GSM module. The goal is to increase safety and medical assistance on Indian roads.
