Every Street Dog tells the story of a stray dog named Max who lives on the streets of a big city. Max struggles to find food and shelter each day while avoiding dangerous people and other animals. After being injured in a fight, Max meets a kind man who takes him in from the cold and gives him a safe, warm home.
Every street dog faces challenges to survive each day without a home or owner to care for them. They must scavenge for food in trash cans or beg from people, and find shelter wherever they can, such as under porches or in abandoned buildings. Many street dogs live short, difficult lives exposed to the elements, diseases, injuries from vehicles or attacks from other animals, and often face cruelty from humans as well.
This document discusses several issues with the global food system: our planet's food supply depends heavily on only a few plant and animal species; vast areas of rainforest are being cleared every hour for palm oil production; and the industrial treatment of farm animals is considered by some to be one of the worst crimes in history. It also notes that a significant portion of global food production is lost or wasted, and that diet-related diseases like diabetes and cancer are leading causes of death. The document encourages people to eat less meat and sugar, buy organic and local food, and support food technology startups.
