WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT
?
7. In most of lord ganesha’s temple the trunk of Lord
Ganesha idols is tilted towards the left, which represents
Ida Nadi (the cooling energy channel).
Left-trunked Ganesha is associated with happiness and
relaxation.
For households, it’s advisable to keep a
left-trunked Ganesha. The trunk close to
the laddu signifies material gain and
prosperity.
8. In temples like Siddhivinayak, you’ll find
Ganesha statues with the trunk tilted
towards the right.
Why?: - Temple rituals require worshipping
Ganesha with a right-trunked idol. Because it is
believed that if any mistake is made during
ritual. Then it can invoke the deity’s wrath.
Right-trunked Ganesha, known as
Siddhi Vinayaka, is believed to grant
quick results (siddhis) when worshiped
correctly.
