4. Objectives
The role of a celebration committee is to ensure that special days, birthdays,
and events are celebrated and organized in a way that brings joy and
excitement to the participants. The committee is responsible for
remembering these occasions and planning the necessary arrangements to
make them successful.
The celebration committee plays an important role in ensuring that special
days and events are celebrated in a meaningful and memorable way. They
help to create a festive atmosphere and bring people together to share in the

7. Visit at Victoria Park
On July 20th, the senior students took the
initiative to organize a memorable trip, with the
primary goal of fostering a stronger bond
between the juniors and seniors. This
excursion not only offered a wonderful
opportunity for both groups to interact and get
to know each other better but also successfully
fulfilled the aim of experiencing and
appreciating nature as a part of embracing the

8. On July 24th, 2022, our seniors took the
initiative to organize a warm and inviting
welcome function for us, the freshers. The
primary objective of this welcome event was to
acquaint our junior students with the
functioning of the department and to introduce
them to the various committees that play a
significant role in enriching the overall student
experience.

9. On the special occasion of 75th
Independence Day, Maharaja
Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University
held a Flag hoisting ceremony, organised
by the Department of Physics. The event
was a grand celebration of our nation's
freedom and a tribute to the countless
freedom fighters who fought for our
independence.

10. Rave Event
On 28th August; 2022, our seniors
organized an event name "Rave event".
That day we presented so many new ideas
like Trushali shaw us Jane Austen with
unique point of view, Upasna recite the
potery, Hina Parmar show her skill of live
Potraing Yesha Ma'am and our seniors gave
other information and thoughts.

11. Virtual Teacher's Day
At Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar
University, we, the Department of English, were
fortunate to engage in a virtual event. This
unique experience provided all participants with
the chance to familiarize themselves with facing
the camera and gain knowledge about utilizing
tools like OBS Studio to generate certificates
automatically. It was an enriching and novel
experience for all involved.

12. On 27th September, the
Celebration Committee organized a
celebration for Navratri, one of the
most popular and beloved festivals
among the Gujarati community.

13. Republic Day
On 26th January 2023, our university, Maharaja
Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University
celebrated its 74th Republic Day with great
enthusiasm. The M.Com department organised
the event, which began with the flag-hoisting
ceremony.

14. Annual Day
• On March 18, 2023, we celebrated the annual
day of Smt. S.B. Gardi Department of English
and published our memorabilia for 2022-23.

15. Farewell Function
On March 19, 2023, we held a
farewell function for our
seniors, where everyone
delivered informative syllabus-
centric poems and speeches,
making the event truly
memorable.
