Blind love can cause people to act against their normal beliefs and standards by doing anything to please or keep their partner. When in blind love, people are unable to distinguish right from wrong and their partner may take advantage of them, such as doing all household chores. Friends and family who see the unhealthy relationship will try to intervene but the person in blind love will not listen to their advice. Blind love can also involve an abusive relationship where one person brainwashes and controls the other by forbidding contact with others. A couple blinded by love may irrationally prioritize each other over jobs and responsibilities. Blind love also refers to love that sees no attributes and is unconditional.

The document discusses several key issues around immigration reform in the United States. It notes that there are currently around 11 million undocumented immigrants in the country. Immigrants often leave their home countries due to lack of food, unemployment, poverty, or low wages. The document also discusses the DREAM Act, which would provide a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants who came to the US as minors, go to college or serve in the military. However, some argue it amounts to amnesty. The document calls for reforms such as a temporary worker program and penalties for illegal border crossings and hiring undocumented workers. It also discusses concerns that immigrants are overusing welfare systems and family reunification laws.

Capital punishment is passionately debated in the US. Opponents argue that life imprisonment achieves the same goal as the death penalty, but supporters counter that convicted criminals escape prison every year, so only the death penalty prevents escape. Supporters also argue that the death penalty deters crime by preventing murderers from killing again, and that studies claiming innocent people have been executed are unfounded.
Customer loyalty is an important asset for businesses operating in competitive markets. It becomes particularly important when switching costs are low for customers. Various authors have studied the impact of customer relationship management (CRM) on customer loyalty, but have not distinguished between different types of loyalty. Looking back over the past decade, many firms have adopted CRM to improve their customer focus, using tactics like customer loyalty programs to build financial and relationship rewards for customers in order to increase sales revenues.

John Bowlby developed the attachment theory after observing children separated from their parents during World War 2 developing emotional problems stemming from the separation. Bowlby himself experienced separation from his mother at a young age when sent to boarding school. 1. Being Thankful For Essay
Too many people take for granted, privileges that are not retained by everybody and I believe they
may lead unhappy lives because of this.
A surplus of average high schoolers could probably talk the entire day about how miserable their
lives are. These are kids who have all the privileges somebody could ask for in the world, yet they
have a difficult time finding purpose in their lives.
The privileges that people should be thankful for are being taken for granted every day. When
everything is expected and nobody shows thankfulness for anything the components that should bring
happiness lose value.
There are some people who were born without these privileges, but even with their unfortunate events
they find happiness. This is due to

upon me, my blood ran cold; and so by degrees–very gradually–I made up my mind to take the life
of the old man, and thus rid myself of the eye forever."
This is from the text book, Great Writing, which was edited by Harvey S. Wiener and Nora
Eisenberg. It comes from the first page of the short story by Edgar Allan Poe called The Tell–Tale
Heart. The story starts on page 108 and ends on page 111. The book was published by Mc Graw Hill

4. MLA Rough Draft
1.When writing, whether you paraphrase or directly quote someone else's ideas anywhere in your
paper, you must document the use of those borrowed ideas with an internal citation notation. In
MLA, there are two basic features of an internal citation. What are they?
In–text citation – This is a parenthetical citation within the paper that refers the reader to a list of
works cited. It commonly includes the author of the source and a page number, and punctuation
separates the author's last name and the page number. Nor is the abbreviation p. (for "page") used.
The period that ends the sentence appears after the closing parenthesis. 2.In MLA, if you work

In MLA, how are the works cited entries organized on the Work(s) Cited page?
пѓ Tell me how to arrange a works cited list on the page. No example required.
пЃ¶Create a new page at the end of your paper for a "Works Cited" list. Center the words "Works
Cited" at the top of the page. Double space after the title and begin entering citations.
пЃ¶Entries are listed alphabetically by the last name of the author or by the first major word of the
title if no author is given. If a source has more than one author, it is alphabetized by the last name of
the author whose name appears first. The entries are not numbered.
пЃ¶Entries are double–spaced.
пЃ¶The first line of each entry begins at the left margin. If more than one line is needed to complete
the entry, additional lines are indented five spaces or half an inch (this is called a hanging indent).

does the internal citation look the first time you create it? Use your last name and page number 123
to illustrate your answer.
To correctly answer question 6, show me (don't tell me) how an internal citation looks the first time

5. Grit Essay Examples
Grit is a predictor of academic, professional, and personal success. Grit can be defined as strength
of character or the ability to overcome failure and continue to work toward success. People with
grit are not always the people with the most natural ability, but their work ethic and ability to
overcome obstacles allows them to achieve success. Grit is a very valuable characteristic in almost
any venture, as it gives someone an advantage in overcoming the inevitable obstacles they will face.
However, grit is much easier adopted when an individual has a growth mindset. The first step to
obtaining grit is to correlate both self–control and self–confidence when trying to reach an objective.
By doing this, one can focus on the task at hand...show more content...
I had no experience as a runner nor did I have the form. This did not phase me however. That year
I promised myself to push through all the six mile runs, sore legs, gnarly blisters, and at times,
lack of oxygen. At every meet and speed workout practice I pushed myself further and further. I
set a goal every time I kicked off from the starting line and never let myself get discouraged when
I failed. By my senior year, I was the fourth fastest runner on varsity. That year our varsity team
won the district meet, which qualified us to run in the 2016 state meet in Oregon. The
transformation over the years were evident. My determination to accomplish my goal of
becoming a faster runner was complete. If I had simply just given up that first day of practice, I
wouldn't have ran along side of the fastest runners in Oregon or have met the multitude of people
that are now my closest friends. Having a goal sets one up for a challenge, whether it being
physically or mentally, goals keep us active and thinking in more ways than one. Still, if someone
has self–control, confidence, and a goal, they are still not complete. Growth mindset is the cone to
an ice cream. It is the foundation of what I think a successful person is. Without it one couldn't use
the characteristics mentioned above in more ways than one. Someone with a growth mindset believe
that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work, brains and talent
are just the starting point.

6. English Reflection
In my previous English courses, I had no knowledge of writing an essay, or even a proper
sentence. Writing did not seem like anything important in my life, or that it would affect me
anyway in the future. I had despised my own writing and loathed having to write essays for any
of my classes. When I had enrolled in Composition I, I had no idea what I was going to do to pass.
However, in class, we had done collaborative work, which had helped me progress myself.
Collaborative work had consisted of multiple students helping each other, sharing ideas, and
peer–reviews. This was a change of pace for me since I had not done that before. In previous classes,
I had done individual work, which was solely myself correcting and working on my work.
Between collaborative work and individual work, I enjoyed working with partners and sharing each
other's experiences to benefit ourselves. Over this class I have developed my writing skills, learned
from my previous mistakes, and understood the writing process.
To begin with, before taking this class I would have grammar errors, low level word choices,
sentence fragments, contractions, and no sentence variety. The grammar in my essays would be
something that I had never worked on or learned from. My word choices were that of a middle
schooler and would sound childish at times. I had never taken the time to learn about the sentence
variety and combinations that were possible. My knowledge of sentence variety was limited to only
compound and

7. I Feel As A Writer
I feel as though I have really grown as a writer because of this class. Before taking W131, I always
had a hard time trying to put my thoughts down on paper in a way that made sense. No matter how
many times I would rewrite my past papers I never seemed to be able to convey my thoughts and
beliefs accurately. This course really has taught me the importance of prewriting and revising.
Before, I would simple sit down and stare at a blank computer screen and just kind of start typing
and what I ended up with was extremely unorganized and hard to follow. Now that I have found a
way to prewrite that works for me, I feel as though my writing has really improved and become
more organized. One of my other "weaknesses", when it comes to writing, is my inability to keep
from getting to emotionally involved. If I feel passionately about something then you are going to
be able to tell, no matter which emotion it may be, frustration, anger, sadness, or joy. I know that
being passionate about something and that putting that passion into your work can be a very good
thing, but it can also be bad if you are writing a paper which requires you to be unbiased. For
instance, essay four the synthesis paper, the articles that I chose to write about made me extremely
frustrated and it was very difficult for me to control my emotions while writing it. I know that my
anger and frustration is easily felt by the readers based on the peer reviews that I received, as well as

In 2008, twelve women taking resident in the U.S. died due to legal abortions performed during the
