FIU turned to Smart Grants after examining alternative approaches, consulting with industry experts and

was a requirement but we wanted to avoid the time and effort typically required to customize PeopleSoft in
order to meet our needs" indicated Al Hernandez, FIU's Assistant Director, Research Decision Support.

and automate other PeopleSoft application areas such as Billing in Financials and providing electronic
