The student produced a teaser trailer for their media coursework targeting an audience aged 16-50. They received feedback from two people within the target age range who said they liked the trailer and wouldn't change anything. The student then uploaded the trailer to YouTube where it received a 5-star rating and 23 views, indicating positive audience feedback. The student also posted the trailer and additional coursework materials to their blog and solicited open-ended comments, all of which provided feedback that the student's work was better than expected and didn't need changes.

2. For my A2 Media coursework I produced a teaser trailer of the romance genre. My planned target audience was both male and female in the 16 – 50 age range. I used different ways to see what my audience thought of my finished product.
3. The first step I took in getting together feedback from my audience was showing it to 2 people, male and female, within my target audience age.

8. Even though my product was shown to a small audience, they were at the youngest and oldest age that I required of my target audience. From their reaction and comments about my finished product, I then uploaded it to www.youtube.com where it can be viewed around the world.
9. As you can see my trailer has already had 1 rating of 5 stars, showing that so far audience feedback on my product has been positive.
10. I have also had 23 viewings of my trailer since I uploaded it.
11. The next idea I had to collect audience feedback was to upload the trailer to my A2 Coursework blog and get people of my target audience to comment on my trailer and 2 ancillary tasks. Instead of asking specific questions I asked people to comment on things they liked, didn’t like and if they would change anything .

15. The answer to the question... From uploading my trailer onto YouTube and the small success it has had, what I have learned from my audience feedback is that my product has done better than I expected it would. People said they wouldn’t change anything about it and liked what I had already done. I have achieved more feedback than I expected from my target audience and I am extremely pleased with it and my product.
