Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Sierra Recycling &
Demolition to host 3x Superbowl Champion, Stephen Neal
and Former Florida State Football Coach, Bobby Bowden
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. April 18, 2012 – Sierra Recycling & Demolition and Fellowship of
Christian Athletes Kern County Chapter will be hosting the 3rd Annual Night of
Champions benefit dinner, Friday, April 27, 2012. All funds raised will go to the FCA
Kern County scholarship fund to send local high school athletes to camp for team
building and spiritual growth. The event will begin at 6:00 PM at Riverlakes
Community Church, 4301 Calloway Drive. All local media is invited.
The Night of Champions will include dinner from Hodel’s Country Dining and a Q&A with
3-time Superbowl champion with the New England Patriots and World Champion
wrestler, Stephen Neal. There will also be a keynote address from Bobby Bowden,
Former Florida State Head Football Coach. We are also proud to have KBAK 29 Sports
Anchor Gregg Kerr as our Master of Ceremonies.
“The past two years the Kern County Night of Champions has raised over $68,000 to
send young men and women to leadership & team camps,” FCA Kern County Director,
Dave Washburn said. “The support from the community at this event has made it
possible to help hundreds of kids get to camp and supply Bibles to athletes and
coaches.” Part of the proceeds will also go toward the purchase of Bibles for student
athletes.
Individual tickets can be purchased for $100 per person. Table sponsorships are also
