- Why do we care? Well, one of the first things that come to mind is what Jean just talked about – our changing country. How could it get this bad in only 25 years?
- Not only are there obesity impacts of urban sprawl – traffic fatality rates are significantly higher in sprawling communities
- On top of changes in demographics, we also need to realize the impact private transportation has on greenhouse gas emissions in California. The single largest source of GHGe in CA is from the transportation sector…
- Things we don’t do:-Build highways or infrastructure. Roadway capacity expansion (unless it is absolutely, absolutely needed)
