your Programme of Study and questions
 You will be given help notes which you can use
 You can use a dictionary or translator
 You will have plenty of time to do the assessment
 There is a formula for how to answer the questions
 Spelling is NOT assessed!

 Rife - widespread, common
 Plagiarism – cheating / using work of others
 Postgraduate students – learners who have a
degree, the next level of study
 Linguistics – study of language, (written and
spoken), accent, dialect etc.
 Collusion – working together (in a bad way
normally)
 Interim – short-term / temporary
 Boon – assistance / help
