HPE SimpliVity 380 節點僅作為全閃存節點提供。
在 HPE SimpliVity Gen 10 380 節點中，前置托架 SSD 用於永久虛擬機數據，驅
動器配置為支持每個節點至少一個驅動器損耗（取決於型號）。節點後面的兩個
額外 SSD/HDD 驅動器用於託管虛擬機管理程序安裝和 HPE OmniStack 虛擬控
制器存儲。在每個節點的裸機上運行是虛擬機管理程序。 HPE SimpliVity 旨在
與虛擬機管理程序無關，以便客戶選擇最適合其環境的虛擬機管理程序。這可
以通過實現單獨的表示和數據管理層來實現，這使得數據可以被管理，與所使
用的管理程序無關。本文檔專門針對使用 VMware vSphere 實施 HPE
SimpliVity。
 SimpliVity Cluster & VMware vCenter Server
HPE SimpliVity Cluster 是主要的邏輯結構，它定義了一組 HPE SimpliVity 超融

 HPE SimpliVity Arbiter
當群集中配置的兩個獨立系統失去網絡連接並假設他們具有對資源的獨占訪問
權時，就會出現裂腦情況。 HPE SimpliVity Arbiter 可確保雙節點或更大群集在
超融合節點故障中倖免，而不會中斷服務或丟失對數據的訪問權限。
HPE SimpliVityArbiter 仲裁器是駐留在 Windows 系統上的軟體，可以與超融合
節點通信，並促進節點之間的通信並解決狀態衝突，以確保服務連續性。
Arbiter 能夠實現僅兩個 HPE SimpliVity 節點的小型數據中心，而不是至少需要
三個節點 - 這可以降低小型高可用性配置的初始成本。
在正常操作下，HPE SimpliVity 超融合節點和 HPE SimpliVity Arbiter 通過網絡
發送的心跳保持持續通信。但是，請務必注意，運行環境不需要 HPE
SimpliVity 仲裁器。如果 Arbiter 脫機，雙節點環境將繼續運行而不會中斷，但
如果其中一個節點發生故障，VM 可用性將面臨風險。
為了使仲裁者能夠正確地提供這種獨立見證，它必須存在於其作為參與者的
HPE SimpliVity 群集之外，因此不能存在於它正在見證的 HPE SimpliVity 節點
或數據存儲上。 HPE SimpliVity Arbiter 通常安裝在 vCenter Server 或獨立外部
Windows Server 上，但在單獨的不相關服務器上完全受支持，如果選擇在 HPE
SimpliVity 超融合節點上運行 vCenter，則必須保持分離。
 SSD 磁盤可用性
全面保護數據始於確保磁盤不會發生故障，並且能夠在發生故障時從故障中無
縫恢復。
作為全閃存解決方案，存儲的使用壽命取決於 SSD 在發生故障之前可以處理的
寫入次數，以每日驅動器寫入次數（DWPD）來衡量。磁盤壽命保護始於 Data
Virtualization Platform 的重複數據刪除，壓縮和優化操作。重複數據刪除減少了
發送到磁盤的寫入操作的數量。壓縮減少了正在寫入的數據的大小，因此每次
操作可以寫入更多數據。優化可確保以最小化由 RAID 操作引起的寫入開銷的
方式寫入數據 - 例如，重新計算和重寫奇偶校驗。
HPE SimpliVity 380 系列採用平均 DWPD 較低的 SSD。Media Lifecycle
Manager 的新功能。此功能始終在運行，並觀察磁盤上的寫入 I / O 速率。如果
Media Lifecycle Manager 檢測到將導致生命週期少於三年的 DWPD 趨勢，它將
逐步限制 VM 和備份寫入吞吐量，以確保在三年保修期之前不會耗盡生命週期

遠不會被 Media Lifecycle Manager 限制，也不會編寫與維護數據高可用性相關
的活動。
如果磁盤發生故障，硬件 RAID 將用於為每個節點的磁盤子系統提供無縫保
護。 RAID 1，RAID 5 或 RAID 6（取決於磁盤數量）用於保護磁盤上的數據。
這可確保磁盤級彈性，以便丟失磁盤不會影響單個節點上的數據可用性。
HPE 無任何文件提及可以自行增調整數量不要再問了。

8. 第二章 HPE SimpliVity VMWARE 設計架構
本文操作架構與路環境如下
適用於 vCenter 架構之下必要元件 。環境中必需要先有或已存在運作之
vCenter；相關 vCenter 運值需求規定請參考 VMWARE 文件(相關 DNS,NTP 運
作規範)並請於佈署安裝 SimpliVity 伺服器前確認 Datacenter > node ESXi 伺服
器要被加入之叢集 Cluster 已被建立。此叢集請獨立運作不要加入非 SimpliVity
節點伺服器考量資源平衡(詳細因素請參考 VMWARE 資源調度相關文件 )
請務必確認 HPE SimpliVity OmniCube Interoperability Guide 文件提及之
vCenter 版本與相對映支援否則會有佈署不成功之風險
並請確認 DNS, NTP , Default Gateway 運作正常

11. 第三章 環境佈署程序
依據佈署安裝版本應先取得檔案
取得方式依據文件 HPE OmniStack xxx for vSphere Deployment Guide
Download the HPE SimpliVity software 取得檔案並解壓縮後如上圖
將 deploy-installer-9.56.1-psi17+sva-3.7.9.279-usb.img 映像檔寫入 USB 隨身
碟 ，USB 隨身碟最好要具備 16G 。img 寫入程式 Deployment Guide 有推薦
Windows 安裝程式並確認服務啟動 SimpliVity-arbiter-3.7.9.124.msi (請確認將
Windows 防火牆關閉)

使用 deploy-installer-9.56.1-psi17+sva-3.7.9.279-usb.img 映像 USB 隨身碟為開機
(如果伺服器已預設備同版本已初始到預備佈署狀態則略過此一步驟如下圖開機
後已經到這一個畫面。
如果區域內無 DHCP Server 請自行預設一組同網段暫時 IP 供 Deployment
Manager 初始偵測。

輸入 vCenter Server IP,帳號 administrator@vsphere.local,密碼

Datacenter 與 Cluster ;在此將選擇要將 SimpliVity node 要放入的集群 Cluster

將 SimpliVity node 開機到等待佈署的狀態(或使用 USB 碟重灌系統還原初始與
將不同版本檔案置入系統,詳請見第_章,重置 node 初始動作)

16. 注意請使用 RJ port 取用 IP 佈署設定
同時 10G SFP+ 網路也請接上 ；如何視別看 UP 狀態及 MAC 倒數第二碼就知
開啟 Deployment Manager 依先前步驟到下圖等待被佈署連接
現在是第一個端點開始進行佈署所以是 Create an HPE SimpliVity Federation
程式是檢查 Cluster 之中有沒有 SimpliVity 成員
Arbiter 是裝在 Windows 所以給予指定 IP

17. 接下來請依照 SimpliVity 超融合聯邦與 VMWARE 環境參數填入下一步
由於先前設定已經有存成 XML 所以此一步驟選取 Import；下一步模式皆相同
差異於手重或自動帶入設定值，如果帶入的是舊版本的 XML 設定值有可能系
統會有偵錯請自行手動修正。

HPE SimpliVity Plug‐in adds options to the VMware® vSphere® Web Client
