This document summarizes the results of a MOOC on new librarianship offered by Syracuse University. Over 3,000 people expressed interest in the course and around 2,400 enrolled. Around 230 completed all course requirements to receive a certificate. The course involved over 10,000 total hours of participation and an average of 4.5 hours per user. Surveys found that most participants were satisfied with the course and likely to take future MOOCs offered by Syracuse University or other institutions. The course demonstrated a desire for continuing education on librarianship and opportunities for libraries to offer MOOCs.
