As the owner and general manager of Mid-State Seeds, LLC, in Marshall, MO, Steve Blalock oversees one of the world's largest seed producers. A former sales manager with the seed division Cargill, Inc., he leads his company in producing soybean seeds, wheat, and other products using state-of-the-art technology, including Carter Day Scalperators and Cimbria Delta Super 108 screen cleaners. Steve Blalock’s MO-based firm has also received the Center for Human Services' Outstanding Employment Opportunities commendation and garnered recognition as the West Region’s Master Yield Estimator.
