Steven Mason is an expert in brand strategy, naming, positioning, corporate/product launches and marketing program execution with over 25 years' experience in technology, software, medical devices and consumer packaged goods. I call myself a Creative Destructionist after famed economist Joseph Schumpeter coined the term "creative destruction" to describe the engine of capitalism. Bad brands, taglines, names and entire strategies cannot be incrementally improved any more than you can improve stale bread or sour milk. Rather, they must be scrapped (Destroyed!) and replaced with customer- and profit-generating strategies and tactics that actually work.
