Sandra Toze is the Marketing Manager for the MIM degree, and an Assistant Professor at the School of Information Management at Dalhousie University. Her research involves examining how people, particularly groups, find and integrate information to successfully accomplish knowledge based work tasks, and to help design tools and practices to facilitate and enhance this process. She has been involved in previous research involving knowledge work including examining the effect of interruptions on search. Prior to her academic career, Sandra worked as an Information Professional in the financial and information services industries.
