I am an analytical chemist by training with research focus in the areas of flow analysis and environment monitoring. In the last eight years however, I have become extremely interested in cheminformatics, which I would now characterize as my major focus. Current projects include: electronic laboratory notebooks, semantic representation of chemistry data, controlled vocabularies, ontologies, the AnIML and ExptML markup languages, REST interfaces to expose science data and the ChAMP project.
