Salient points:
i. Online classes on online platform, with recordings.
ii. Each Module has 3 hours of instructor led classes (1-hour business concepts; 1- execution
exercise; 1-hour doubt clearing and interactions). You can register for the full course (of 4-8
modules) or you can register per module.
iii. Small batches for individual attention – approx. 10 people in 1 batch
iv. Reading Material will be provided post registration in the course
v. 1 exercise / online assessment will be provided per module, with a time of 7 days to
complete and submit the assignment - once the course commences
vi. Pexitics Certified Professional Certificate issued for each capsule module will be of 2 types:
a. Participants who attend the session and complete the post-session exercise with at
least 50% marks - Pexitics Certified Professional
b. Participants who attend the session - Attended Certificate
vii. Participants are encouraged to work out the concept on their data. Mentorship will be

1.1 Introduction to Evidence Based People Decisions and HR Analytics
Highlights – HR Analytics books and content are typically aimed at the Analytics practitioners, leaving
out the majority of HRM students and People & Business Managers. The book aims to address this
perennial problem of adoption of HR Analytics practices across organisations due to the lack of
knowledge about tools like MS Excel that can hugely benefit students & HR Managers to learn and
adopt faster compared to code based tools like R & SAS. The amount of People data available at large
organisations and start-ups to derive meaningful decisions are well addressed in this book to improve
the employability potential or refitment into analytical job roles for HR practitioners and students of

1.2 Masterclass for Data Backed Decisions in People Management and HR using Analytics
This course is for People Managers who seek to learn how to use the data in HR (Hiring, L&D, Comp
&Ben, Leave, Promotion & Performance, Attrition etc) to make smart People Decisions.
Pre-requisites: Working Knowledge of Excel.
Ideally for people who have completed ‘Introduction to Evidence Based People Decisions and HR
Analytics’ (above) or who have 5+ years in People Management / HR.
• Module 1: Attrition Management: How to segment the workforce into desirable /
undesirable attrition (before the attrition occurs)
Relevance: The general practise is to flag an attrition as desirable / undesirable at the point
of attrition (often, by the superior of the leaving employee). There is no clear attrition
prevention or attrition enabling strategy that is used. If we can flag each member of our
workforce as per data around competency, performance and cost (salary), we can also put
out person specific actions which should be considered by the superior when the employee
considers leaving the organisation.
Analytics model: Defend, Grow, Exit Segmentation
• Module 2: Compensation Management: How to create Salary parity in a team on the basis
of current competency, performance and potential for growth (relevant for Junior, middle
level employees)
Relevance: As we recruit people from different sources and at different market conditions,
we end up giving different salaries to them. Salary becomes a point of dissatisfaction with
employees and has an adverse impact on performance, team dynamics and employee
engagement. We can create a matrix of comparison between employees based on their job
competencies, general competencies, potential to grow, performance and current salary
bands to do salary parity.
Analytics model: Look-alike model
• Module 3: Succession Planning: How to do Succession Planning and create the 9-box grid
(Potential vs Performance) the basis of Competency and Feedback (qualitative data) on the
employees.
Relevance: Understanding the Performance Vs Potential for each employee in the
organisation is time consuming and tedious, because of which Succession Planning often
becomes and exercise only for Senior Management. Today, with the Corona virus crisis,
organisation structures may change quickly. We will look at using Competency and
performance data to create the 9-box grid easily and fast.

• Module 4: Recruitment for Productivity: How to recruit for Productivity and so that the
employee stays with the company for 2 years or more - for high ROI of recruitment
Relevance: Recruitment looks into hiring people who will be productive in a job, fast and at
the best possible cost. For ROI of recruitment to be high, these employees should stay with
the company for 2 years or more. Thus, we need to be able to create a match for the Job and
Culture - to ensure stickiness.

Relevance: Employee engagement studies help us understand Engagement levels in different
