Reports Features

 Create Reports using a Report Wizard
 View created report using the Report Viewer
 Add Filters
       Select AND / OR filters for reports with multiple queries
       Create multiple filter groups
       Select which filters users can change when viewing a saved
       report (Run-time)
 Run a report with multiple groupings of data
 Select certain reports as My Favorite Reports
 Use or modify the 40+ out-of-the-box reports

Report Types
 Rows and Columns
       In-depth information in row and column format
 Summation
       Overview of the data, grouped by specific criteria
       Display results in groups, based on a particular field value
       Include sum, count, max values for each group
       Create charts to display the results visually
 Summation with Detail
       Like Summation and includes columns of data fields from
       records of selected modules
 Matrix
       Similar to a Summation report
       Overview of the data displays in a grid
          Choose from layout options for the grid
       Display results in up to three “group by” options

Creating a Rows and Columns Report

1. Select a primary module
2. Define Filters
       Add filters to specify the parameters to select which data is
       retrieved.
       Elect filters for related modules
3. Choose Display Columns
       Define the data fields to display in the report result
       Select data fields to display from related modules
4. Enter Report Details
       Include basic information: report name, assigned to user,
       team

Creating a Summation with Details Report

 1. Select a primary module
 2. Define Filters
       Add filters to specify the parameters to select which data is
       retrieved
       Select filters for related modules
 3. Define Group By
       Determine how the data is grouped and which group by
       data displays in the chart
       Unlimited groups
       Select group by data for related modules
 4. Choose Display Summaries
       Define which data is summarized and displays in the report
       result
       Select data from related modules to summarize and display

Modifying a Report

 When you are the assigned to user
       To modify your existing report
          Click Edit
       To modify and create a new report from your existing report
          Click Duplicate, update selections, click Save

 When you are not the assigned to user
       Make changes to the filters to manipulate data
        or
       Click Duplicate to create a duplicate report and make
       changes
          Make changes, give it a new name, assign it to yourself and
          the correlating team, and click Save

 Schedule it to run at periodic intervals
 System runs it automatically and sends it to the
  Assigned To users email
 Schedule it from the list view by clicking the
   - -none- - link in the Schedule Report column

Modifying a Report  When you are the assigned to user To modify your existing report Click Edit To modify and create a new report from your existing report Click Duplicate, update selections, click Save  When you are not the assigned to user Make changes to the filters to manipulate data or Click Duplicate to create a duplicate report and make changes Make changes, give it a new name, assign it to yourself and the correlating team, and click Save Tweet: #SCON12 ©2011 SugarCRM Inc.
