Callidus Monaco is a system Amgen uses to calculate and deliver variable compensation to its Sales
representations. This application provides a mechanism for Receiving information about
commissionable events for Amgen products which happens at the Payment point, storing all the
references information, calculating the required payments and sending payment information to the
payment systems.
Amgen (Applied Molecular Genetics) is an American multinational biopharmaceutical company
headquartered in Thousand Oaks, California. Located in the Conejo Valley, Amgen is the world's largest
independent biotechnology firm. In 2013, the company's largest selling product lines were
Neulasta/Neupogen, two closely related drugs used to prevent infections in patients undergoing cancer
chemotherapy; and Enbrel, a tumor necrosis factor blocker used in the treatment of rheumatoid
arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. Other products include Epogen, Aranesp, Sensipar/Mimpara,
Nplate, Vectibix, Prolia and XGEVA.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 He is assisting the Amgen business team in preparing the functional specification documents in
line with Callidus Monaco standards and best practices.
 Requirement Gathering and Analysis on Discretionary work.
 He needs to escalate delays in project delivery to Manager that occurs due to delays in
deliverable timelines from external and third party application owners.
 Preparing detailed technical design using Amgen design templates and applying design best
practices.
 Reviewing and providing feedback on the technical design prepared by other team members of
the project.
 Customizations of Callidus Monaco that include Rule writing, Webi reports fulfil business
requirements.
 Knowledge transition to the internal Amgen to ensure application knowledge availability in
house at the end of each release.

Description:
Emirates NBD, the largest banking group in the Middle East in terms of assets. The Group has
operations in the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Kingdom and Jersey
(Channel Islands), and representative offices in India, Iran and Singapore
Emirates NBD started with ‘Exceed’ program to motivate their Sales force with the concept of ‘Write
your own pay cheque’ which in turn started delivering huge business benefits. They have started
calculating the incentives with lot of manual activities using excel with extracts coming from different
sources.
Automation of incentive compensation calculation, visibility to management and end users with their
sales quote achievements is lacking. Also ENBD would like to roll out the program for additional
channels.
The project was envisioned for automating the Incentive Calculation process grossly for its three
Sales channels and 2000 Sales users with Compensation plans tailored for different Sales groups/
Titles and Individual and Team Performance reports for Sales representatives and Managers.
Responsibilities:
 Gathered the requirements from the ENBD, Understanding of business Requirements and
identified the functional points involved.
 Prepared the high level design document and Technical design document for Oracle fusion ICM
 Analyzed the data required and prepared the data design for upstream application
 Co-ordinate with Oracle support team in identifying issues in the tool providing the solutions and
workarounds to fix those issues.
 As a SME, I am responsible in helping people with the various design solutions that be derived
for any given requirement and to decide upon the effective one.
 Had performed internal training sessions on Incentive Commission Management System along
with other tools & utilities.
 Lead the team in delegating tasks to the team members & providing prompt solutions to high

Callidus is a system Vodafone uses to calculate and deliver variable compensation to its channel of
Partners/Stores. This application provides a mechanism for Receiving information about
commissionable events for mobile services which happens at the Payment point, storing all the
references information, calculating the required payments and sending payment information to the
payment systems. An integral feature of Callidus is its ability to transfer data to and receive data from
external systems. Callidus forms as a middle layer between many Upstream and Downstream interfaces
which forms the part of other modules of Vodafone.
Responsibilities:
 As an Application developer, worked on 20 to 25 projects and tested it on Truecomp.
 As a System Designer, Designed 10 projects on Truecomp.
 As a System Analyzer, Resolved 400 to 500 Sev3 incident within SLA time
 Worked on 60 Problem Management Incident’s.
 Providing assistance to Business Queries.

the references information, calculating the required payments, Viewing payment reports and sending
payment information to the payment systems.
Responsibilities:
 Worked on Truecomp and Oracle effectively
 Providing production support for the production issues
 Responsible in preparing action plan during production issue
 Handled various service requests from the business.
 Deliver Service Request in time
 Providing assistance to Business Queries.
 To performance tune the queries with respect to various parameters
 To take care of Production Support, for the errors that occur in Production environment will
analyze and provide restart instructions on lively basis, to meet the SLA.
 To prepare Test plan & Test Cases, to include regression, negative scenarios etc…

The Group has operations in the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Kingdom and Jersey (Channel Islands), and representative offices in India, Iran and Singapore Emirates NBD started with ‘Exceed’ program to motivate their Sales force with the concept of ‘Write your own pay cheque’ which in turn started delivering huge business benefits. They have started calculating the incentives with lot of manual activities using excel with extracts coming from different sources. Automation of incentive compensation calculation, visibility to management and end users with their sales quote achievements is lacking. Also ENBD would like to roll out the program for additional channels. The project was envisioned for automating the Incentive Calculation process grossly for its three Sales channels and 2000 Sales users with Compensation plans tailored for different Sales groups/ Titles and Individual and Team Performance reports for Sales representatives and Managers.
