This document summarizes a presentation given by Dr. Rodger Evans on ocean wave energy research at CICESE in Mexico. It discusses mapping ocean wave energy potential in the Pacific Ocean based on 43 years of wind data simulations. It also describes the development of a prototype wave energy converter using a Gough-Stewart platform and linear alternators to convert wave motion into electrical energy.
