"I haven 't been feeling so great lately",I said in a soft tone. My mom glanced at me with a very
puzzled expression on her face.
"What do you mean? Are you sick?", she asked with confusion in her voice.
"No, I mean I don't know I just haven 't been feeling too great emotionally i guess.", I responded in
a very little voice because I thought that maybe she would think that I was crazy. Once I said that
my mom stopped folding all of the laundry.
"Since when?", my mom asked with a very surprised tone.
"Maybe like 3 months.", I responded. "What! Three months why didn't you tell me".
" I didn't tell you because I thought you wouldn't understand.", I said in a tone that almost sounded
annoyed, which I think I might have been.
" I think you should go to the doctor.", she told me. I didn't want to go to the doctor, but I knew
that it would most likely help me. A couple days later I went to the doctor and he just asked me a
bunch of questions. One of the questions was, what did it feel like to have an anxiety attack. That
was probably one of the hardest questions i had ever had to answer. I couldn 't find the right words
to describe how it felt. As he kept asking me questions he would write things down. I couldn't help
but wonder what he was writing down. I would keep having the thought that maybe he was writing
down all of the bad things. After the doctor stopped talking to me he started to talk to my mom
about ways to help

"I can't believe you," she cries, hurls her last insult, and storms away, quickly followed by a small
group of girls. They spend the rest of the evening throwing dirty looks at the boys, none of whom
seem to care. Spinning faster and faster, the waltzer's occupants scream hysterically. "The louder
you scream, the faster we go," an impersonal voice claims on the intercom. As the ride explodes
with noise, the operator yawns and throws a lever. Outside his soundproof hut the ride
accelerates, then, climax over, it slows and stops. The controller stumbles out of the box and lets
the flushed people off of the ride. Some go straight to the back of the queue, others teeter off,
stumbling over their own feet. Gritting his teeth, a man in the car park presses the accelerator to
the floor, but to no avail. The grass is unrecognisable under all of the mud that has been churned
up by the cars that have been coming and going all day. His face reddens as the wheels spin,
spraying mud on to a shiny red Ferrari that someone was unsuspecting enough to bring. People are
pointing and laughing and the owner of the Ferrari is shouting. Finally, someone is helpful
enough to push him on his way and he leaves at top speed, without even bothering to say thank
you. On the rollercoaster, a young girl screams, while her older brother looks almost ready to fall
asleep. Her best friend in the seat behind is looking slightly green and is very much ready to go
home. The little girl whoops even louder

Descriptive Essay Party
A couple of days before Thanksgiving break, my cousin, whose name is Jae, suggested to me that
there was a party a close friend of hers was throwing. I reluctantly agreed since I had to write
about my experience of a party for my essay. Fast forward to the day of the party, around 7 in the
afternoon, my cousin drove us to her friend's house. What I saw really made me nervous because
I am socially awkward person. If it's a new place with new people, I tend to have sweaty hands,
my heart beats fast, and sometimes I stutter badly. I digress back to the subject, in front of us was
a huge gathering of people and cars parked on both sides of the street leading up to a somewhat
big light blue house. Seeing this I told Jae that I didn't know these many people would be here,
otherwise, I most likely wouldn't have gone. She assured me that it would be fine and calmed me
a bit before we got out of her car and walked through the thick crowd of young adults.Then as my
cousin and I entered the unusually small doorway of the house. We observed our surroundings,
me trying to find a more secluded spot, and I'd assumed Jae was looking the host of this larger
than a necessary house party. I stayed close to my cousin as we weaved in and out of groups of
people. She was speaking to the people that she knew at the party and tried to introduce me to them,
but since I'm not much of a big conversationalist, the discussions mostly just ended in a few
awkward words. It left me a little embarrassed
