Descriptive Essay About Christmas
I looked out the living room window and saw my parents hanging up our Christmas lights in the
soft, falling snow. The aroma of gingerbread cookies floated in the air. I was wrapped up in a
fuzzy, red blanket lounging on our black, leather couch, watching the Christmas special on tv. It was
Christmas Eve so as usual my parents who were the last minute kind of people were hanging up the
rest of our Christmas decorations and lights. Here in Riverbend Estates, everyone went all out with
the Christmas decorations. Walking down our street was the most magical feeling. When I peered
outside once more, I noticed that my parents were having trouble blowing up our huge, inflatable
Santa Claus that sings carols. I knew that they would need my assistance, so I hopped off the
couch, slid my feet into my soft winter boots, threw a coat on and headed out the door. As soon as
I stepped out the door and the cool air blew softly against my face, arousing my long, blond hair, I
could tell that this would be the most magical Christmas ever. The snow was softly falling and
everybody's Christmas lights illuminated the whole street with a soft, Christmas glow. I then jogged
over to where my parents were. They looked especially relieved to see me. "Boy are we glad to see
you Belly!" my Dad announced. "I've told you a million times not to call me Belly! It sounds
outragously ridiculous!" I cried out angrily, "Call me BELLA please!"
"Ok Bella, I'm sorry," my dad apologized, laughing,"Look we need your help. There is a hole in
Santa's hat. Can you please climb up this ladder and patch it up?"
I agreed to help my parents as long as they gave me extra gingerbread cookies later. I climbed up
the orange ladder, as my dad held onto it for extra support. When I reached the top of the ladder I
could see the gaping hole in poor Santa's hat. As I reached out to patch the hole I suddenly lost my
balance. I felt myself falling through the air, so I braced myself for impact. I heard my mom scream
and then everything went black.
It turns out that I didn't get knocked out. THere was simply a power outage. I felt kind of dizzy
though so my dad scooped me up in his arms and brought me inside to lay on the couch for awhile.

Descriptive Essay About Christmas
Christmas is a time of joy, love, and laughter, and it's such a splendid and special time! The sights,
smells, and tastes are so delightful, and they all fill my heart with glee and delight! I love the sweet
smell of sugar cookies baking, twinkling Christmas lights, and shiny wrapping paper!
In the 13 years that I have been alive, it's always been just me and my mom, and sometimes a pet.
My mom is really special. She has a caring and loving heart, even though she's grouchy a lot. She
likes Christmas, but it sometimes makes her sad. We never have a lot of money, and she thinks I
deserve so much that I don't have, but I truly don't. This time of year is when you should spend time
with your loved ones, and just enjoy the time we have...show more content...
I walked up to the window, and watched the snow fall. The snowflakes fell to the ground slowly.
They were crisp and cool, and each snowflake was different than the others. It was the perfect snow
to make snowballs and snowmen!
After a while, Mom and I had a Christmas movie marathon! We started with "A Charlie Brown
Christmas" and ended with "Frosty the Snowman." Bella laid on the spot on the couch beside me,
and fell asleep. She was breathing steadily, and she was very warm. During the middle of "How the
Grinch Stole Christmas," Bella decided to climb onto my lap and watch the movie with us. It was
really fun!
I decided to go outside and walk around after watching movies. I stopped and saw some carolers!
They sung some beautifully! The women each wore a red and green dress with a matching scarf
and black, furry boots, while the men wore a Christmas shirt (each was different, and so amazing!)
with a black coat, black boots, a red scarf, and black pants. One even wore a black, shiny top hat!
When I went back home, I turned on some Christmas music while drinking hot cocoa topped with
whipped cream, chocolate curls, and festive sprinkles! At first, I listened to "A White Christmas,"
"Rudolph the Red–Nosed Reindeer," "Let It Snow," and the rest of the classics. Then, I started
listening to more recent Christmas songs, like "I'll Be Home For Christmas," a cover by Meghan
Trainor and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Sam Smith.

"My favorite holiday" Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. I love seeing the shinny
Christmas lights that decorates my street and the sound of fresh fallen snow on the ground.
Christmas reminds me of family, the laughter and loved we shared, and the gifts we gave to each
other. My house on Christmas became the center of my joy. I remember waking up on Christmas
day with a huge smile on my face, heart full of joy, and my stomach barking. I can smell all the
spices cooking down stairs. As soon as I got out of bed I will rushed down the steps into the
kitchen to see what my mom had prepare for us on this special day. We had different variety of food

Me and my older cousins drag the box outside onto the front porch. As I begin to open the box my
hands started trembling. I couldn't tell if my hands were shaking from the excitement or because
it was five degrees outside. It took us two hours to put the hoop together. Our lips felt like icicles
we were numb from head to toe, but it was worth every moment. It was the most beautiful
basketball hoop I ever seen. It was candy apple red and the backboard had lights on it just in case I
wanted to play in the dark. I thought Santa Claus gave me the coolest gift in the world. Later on
in the evening I use to enjoy sitting in our cozy living room while, the fireplace was burning
sipping on hot cocca and scoff down ginger bread cookies we made the night before. My family
was always exchanging jokes. My brother Tito and my sister Titania love joking around, but my
brother was a lot funnier than my sister. He was the jokester in the family. I remember this one
particular joke my brother said about my aunt. He said she had a temptation hair style. I was
hollering it was so funny because when you looked at her hair it did remind you of the singer
group the Temptation. You would of thought she was a member of the group. I was laughing so
hard tears were running down my face and I urinated a little on myself . My brother always made
holidays so much fun. Christmas was very special to me because the feast my mother

Christmas I sat awaiting all of my family members in the heat filled garage that would become
much warmer as the night went on. It would be filled with loud laughter and cheering from my
whole family. It would be smelling of grandma's ham she cooked and pretzel salad my mom
makes every year. I'm getting anxious as i hear a car pull up outside crunching on the black gravel.
I rush to the window and see my cousins step out of the car, I rush to the door to greet them with a
big smile on my face. It is our annual family Christmas party and my cousins one a year older than
me and one younger rush to give me a big hug at the door. I haven't seen them in a couple of
months and we have all missed each other. My Aunt and Uncle sneak two presents into the garage
while my grandma and grandpa give my cousins hugs.
"Well hello there, come on in!" shouts my grandma excitedly. She gives them all kisses on the
cheek and then my cousins and I run upstairs to the kitchen, away from all the loud noise. We all
have three big grins on our faces when my brother comes in from the living room. He also is
smiling and takes ashton in to the garage to play with the legos. Meghan and I await the rest of our
family in the kitchen window. More people start showing up and my little cousin Kearson arrives.
The garage in full of all sorts of voices now, for most of my large family has arrived. Meghan and I
rush down the stairs greeted my a strong little hug from our favorite cousin.

It is the day before Christmas Eve, "Christmas Adam" as my little sisters call it. The snow is
quilted across West Jordan, but we brave the slick roads to shop for last minute gifts, extra Scotch
tape, and candy. After gathering everything we could possibly need for the next two days, we wait
in line at the register until New Year's– each minute feels like an entire day. The cashier makes
small talk with Mom about the snowfall while my siblings and I bag. When the cashier gets to the
ten, fist–sized bags of various candies, he pauses a beat. Then he continues, we are sure it's not the
weirdest thing he has seen. Mom explains that we are decorating gingerbread houses, that's why we
need so many kinds. It is clear to me that he did not necessarily want the backstory of our collection
of sugar, but he nods anyway, in the perfect customer service way. After we have rung up, we head
back home, fighting over whether we should listen to classic Christmas jams or Mom's 'Sting
Holiday' Pandora radio. I get the final say, because I sit shotgun, and therefore am DJ. Once we get
home it's an uphill battle to get everyone to help with the groceries, but once it's all inside we are
relieved.
Flash forward to Christmas Eve afternoon. We have just eaten lunch and are ready to make our
gingerbread houses. Mom takes out the box and I help her construct the small houses. Once all five
are ready, I send the little kids to bring over the neighbors. We put the gingerbread buildings and
muffin tins of candy on the table, and from there, it's mass chaos. Fighting over the icing bag, crying
when the last cinnamon Santa is gone, and making deals to get the good sweets. But through the
mess, we are bonding. The two eight–year–olds (Gemma and Peyton) chat away, their voices a few
decibels too loud. My brother (Jamison), eleven–year–old sister (Ava), and I all help each other plan
what our houses will look like, despite knowing we each will make the same house as last year. Dad
takes pictures with the camera used only a few times a year, for birthday parties and the Christmas
season. Mom and Magen (our neighbor) laugh about the struggle of buying presents and when they
both started shopping (to say August would be underexaggerating), and

Growing up Christmas was by far my favorite holiday, and Santa was my favorite person. Every
year I would sit down, rip a piece of paper out of my notebook, take my fuchsia colored crayon,
and think long and hard about what I wanted from Santa. I would always get frustrated because I
never knew if the toy I wanted was being made at the North Pole. My Mom would always reassure
myself by saying,
"Santa has helpers all around the world, so if he doesn't make a toy you want he will ask his
helpers to find the toy you requested." This would always make me feel better about what toys I
would choose. I began writing in detail about what I wanted. I would then put my letter in an
envelope and address it to the North Pole. I would sit by the door patiently, every day waiting for
the mailman to arrive to see if Santa would write back. Finally, after many days of waiting I
received a letter from Mr. Claus. I remember looking at the envelope and seeing his name in big
cursive letters. Santa had the most beautiful penmanship I had ever seen. Santa always made my
dreams come true. As a little girl, I always wished for a Barbie dream house. A place where I
could take my Barbie dolls and turn them into real life using my imagination. I woke up at the
crack of dawn on Christmas morning, and ran downstairs to see my dreams had come true. Standing
in the center of the living room was a 6 story high, bright pink, fully furnished Barbie dream house. I
remember bursting into the room and

It's Christmas Eve and I scurry about the house getting ready for the party. Sense I live by myself
I had plenty of time to set up Christmas decorations and it was that ample time that made my
house a vibrantly lit and covered in lavish decorations of Santa and his minions. The smell of ham
permeated the air as I giddily pranced towards the oven putting on mittens to take out the supple
honey ham. I brought my nose up close to the ham smelling deeply before I said "Aww that
golden brown meat is cooked to perfection, supple and succulent" It was at that moment that there
was a knock on the door. "Come on in," I hollered through the house," feal free to make yourselves
at home." I set the ham down on the counter as I walked out of the kitchen to go and great my
guest's. As I walked out I saw Sally running towards me. "Grandpa!" she exclaimed excitedly. I
gave here an evaluating look saying, "My you've gotten big how old are you now?" She held up all
the fingers in her dainty little–left hand before saying "I'm five now." "Wow already five years old
your growing up so fast, making me feal so old, " I said while hunching my back over to look older
than I already did. She looked at me confused while saying "But, you are old grandpa. Hey is there

Descriptive Essay About Christmas Gift
It was Christmas morning of 2006, and I woke up in glee excited to see the Christmas gifts under
our Christmas tree. I was especially excited to open one very special gift because the week before
I had spotted an iPod box in my parent's room. In my mind, I was so sure that the shiny new iPod
was for me. See a couple months before I had printed out pictures of iPods and casually displayed
them around the house. I was hinting to my mom how badly I wanted an iPod. Therefore, when
Christmas morning came, I was fully prepared for that iPod. I had even practiced perfecting my
surprised look for when I actually opened my gift. It was a magical morning until I actually opened
my gift. There is a routine my family goes through every Christmas...show more content...
I was shocked because every one of my older cousins got an iPod. My anger was only further
fueled when I saw everyone else's iPods. I was so consumed by anger that I put my gift away as
soon as our Christmas festivities were over. For the first couple of weeks after Christmas, I
neglected the mp3. I put it in my drawer and refused to even think about it. I couldn't see past my
immature emotions and realize how ungrateful I was being. I even remember a particular
conversation I had with my mom about my mp3, where I had the perfect chance to repent. I was
sitting in the living room doing my homework and she came up to me and asked me about my
mp3. "Mi nina, why aren't you listening to your mp3? Your dad and I thought you would love it,
but I've barely seen you use it," she said. "I just have a lot of school work Mami," I said quietly
afraid that she would realize the true reason behind my lack of using it. She didn't question me
further but I felt bad about lying to her. However, I still did not feel bad enough to actually use
my mp3 player. Months came and went with it stored away in a drawer. It wasn't until one that I
came face to face with the infamous mp3 player again. One afternoon my mom comes into my
room yelling, "Jessica, you only have one job and that is to keep your room clean." I instantly knew
she had seen my messy drawers and would make me clean them out. All I wanted was to yell back,

Descriptive Essay About Christmas
Have you ever wondered how people have the most beautiful christmas decorations? Or wondered
how to do it yourself? Their decorations look so cool and you wish that your house could look like
that. Well, now your house can look like theirs too. I will tell you the steps to the success. The steps
to decorate for the holidays. They will tell you everything from the tree, to the outside of your house
and everywhere in between.
The first step to decorating or doing anything is to have the christmas spirit. If you don't have the
christmas spirit then I don't know what to tell you but none of the rest of the steps matter if you
don't have the christmas spirit. It's almost like saying that you are professionally playing a sport
that you know nothing about. Not happening! So if you are not in the christmas spirit then
decorating will not be fun, entertaining or any kinds of easy. Things to get you in the christmas
spirit would be going to the store and looking at the christmas section or looking on pinterest or
google for inspiration. Even making christmas sweaters with your grandma may help. Do
something festive to get your christmas spirit to the max. Next step to the process is getting
everything ready to decorate your house. First off you have to bake the cookies that you are
gonna eat whilst decorating. This step is key because you are going to get low on energy from the
amount of decorating you are about to do so your blood sugar levels need to be off the charts. Now,
when

Christmas Eve Lasagna In our house lasagna is a dish made for special occasions, my mom is the
only one that makes it. Every year, before my grandfather passed away, my mom would make
lasagna for my brother, father, grandfather, and I. When I was in elementary school my grandfather
and grandmother got divorced, they couldn't even be in the same room together. Therefore, in order
to be able to spend time with both of them during the holidays we would need to have two of each
holiday. Christmas Eve is when we would have Christmas with my grandfather. Lasagna isn't just
my favorite meal because it tastes good, it is the memories of my grandfather's strength and fight
that are associated with it that makes the meal special. People often said that wherever my
grandfather went he always made new friends or enemies. This explains his personality perfectly,
he always made an everlasting impression, not afraid to voice his opinions. When I was around
him he was always telling stories about his days of playing minor league baseball under the
Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins organizations or his days of being a K9 trooper for the
New Hampshire State Police. He was someone that I admired and loved being around. Some of the
best memories are the ones where we are sitting around the table on Christmas Eve eating our
lasagna and munching on some garlic bread. Everything changed when he became sick, but he was a
fighter. My grandfather wasn't going to let the lung cancer take

On that momentous Christmas Eve of 2013, daubs of ashen grays, splattered specks of lapis,
careless streaks of pale lavender, and muted, chalky whites were smeared across the blank canvas
sky, barely concealing the cold, distant stars. The sliver of the moon that was shaped as though it
were a narrow, shining claw, was tied to the edge of a low hanging cloud with a thin, wisp of a
string. Millions of the beautiful feathery, ice crystals were brutally thrown toward the Earth, onto the
frosted, dead grass, where they joined their companions in a heap of broken, mangled snowflakes.
For the ecclesiastical holiday, scintillating lights were intertwined with newly bought, plastic
reindeer scattered across the yard, along with a snowman with a crooked,...show more content...

high socks and took another mouthful of drink. Chloe fiddled with the edge of her caramel,
shoulder–length hair and had given me a lifeless, emerald green stare. "I have a gift for you!" She
then exclaimed, her eyes suddenly brightening as though remembering something important.
"Here!" She handed me a rectangular object ingeniously wrapped, with two red ribbons interlaced
to one another into my hands. Carefully, I had untied the bow, and tore off the wrapping paper. In
the container was a thick book, encased in a dark leather binding. Chloe stood behind me. With
caution, I opened the book and inside was an array of pictures each with captions. In a few of the

two silver hearts linked together. I gave her a sheepish

We walk in and the atmosphere fills me with joy; I hear children yelling on roller coasters, the
amazing aroma of greasy, fried pork rinds, seeing smiles everywhere, it just sets the mood of
having a great day. My family and I are at the famous theme park, Silver Dollar City. We have had a
lasting tradition of visiting, every Christmas holiday and enjoying the sights and sounds of this
amazing place. Our first stop is the store, Christmas Hollow, where Christmas is everywhere.
Bright lights are throughout the whole store, while the smell of cinnamon and peppermint fill the
air. I walk very carefully; not wanting to break any of the very fragile glass all around me. Finally,
my favorite item, the nutcrackers; even though I have a crowd of them at home, I always want
another. I love the way they stand so tall and so straight, almost as if they were real.
As I walk out of the store, a huge sign catches my eye announcing the showing of "The Christmas
Carol" at 1pm. Since it is not quite that time, I go and grab a burger and a Coke. The burger tastes
so much better than an average burger, mostly because I haven't eaten all day. When I bite into the
burger I hear the pickles and lettuce crunch, the taste of the pickles makes me quench for a second,
but the taste of the seasoned burger is scrumptious. The cold Coke tasted just as good, with the sweet
and bubbly zing hydrating my mouth. Finishing my lunch, I headed towards the theater. I still

The day I got four Christmases began with a fiery sunrise whose golden arcs of color dotted my
path as I made my way across the matted, gray carpet that snaked up the walls. I walked down the
stairs, making sure to step on my toes first to ensure a quiet descent. No one in my family was
awake yet, and I was surrounded on all sides by disillusioning silence as in all early hours of the
morning. Directed only by the sunlight filtering in through the upper windows, I managed to pick
my way across the furniture to the fireplace. We didn't have a Christmas tree, and at seven years old,
I longed for the splendor of a beautiful evergreen tree adorned with iridescent fairy lights. All we
had was a wreath my mother had hung up on the front door, and it didn't even have ornaments on it.
At the fireplace, I picked up one of three presents wrapped up in royal blue paper, crinkling the crisp
edges under my grip. It was solid, and didn't respond to my vigorous shaking. Exasperated, I gave up
on my search and made a defeated trek back up to my room to wait for the other.
After at least seven years, my siblings finally woke up and my parents began making breakfast, a
tradition we have on Sunday mornings. Even as the scent of potatoes and eggs filled the house, all I
was hungry for was my gift. But eventually the time came, and my siblings and I gathered around
the fireplace while my parents looking on with steaming cups of coffee in ridiculous snowman cups.

December is much less a month and more so an extended holiday, for the entire month is time to
prepare for Christmas. Everything in the stores, on the TV, on the radio, and in everyone's houses
revolves around the holiday. Christmas is a time to celebrate with music, festivities, and food, or
should I say Christmas desserts. I love the sugary sweets that make my mouth water all year round
until finally the month comes to bake and eat the variety of treats. Oreo balls, peanut butter balls,
chocolate covered pretzels, fudge, caramels, and all the other creative ways to combine the most
unhealthy ingredients complete the holiday season, yet my favorite dessert is a classic Christmas
sugar cookie, a soft star shaped cookie layered with sweet yellow frosting and dipped in a chilled
glass of milk.
The second weekend in December is always cookie–making weekend at Grandma's. Traditionally,
we grandkids spend the night on Saturday to help her bake the sugar cookies; however, she has
already made two batches during the day, so we help her with the third batch. First, we gather all
the ingredients; two cups of butter, two cups of sugar, four eggs, two tablespoons of milk, six cups
of flour, and six teaspoons of baking powder. Grandma takes out her largest glass bowl, and we beat
the butter until it is creamy, for about one minute. Slowly, we add the sugar and mix it until the
ingredients blend into a light and fluffy mixture, making my mouth water due to the sweet smell.

Christmas feast, it was then time for desserts and how sweet they were. My mom's Aunt Emily

Though it was usually cold in Scrooge's house, the people and joy spread warmth everyone,
hugging them like a blanket. It was Christmas Eve, the year after the ghosts had visited Scrooge,
and he had to admit this was the best Christmas by far, next to the one he spent at Mr. Fezziwig's.
During all this festiveness, Scrooge started pondering about his past Christmases, and how they had
been so very dull and lifeless. He had been so obsessed with not wasting money that he didn't even
have a fire going to save the money on the coal.
Someone interrupted his thoughts. Bob Cratchit had come over and asked him if he would like some
punch. He remembered how little he used to pay Bob, so little that the bird they ate was only a
quarter of the size of the one now at the party, and he couldn't even afford toys for his children.
Nowadays, Bob got a better, more sustainable wage, good enough to help Tiny Tim, his son. He
constantly donated money and visited the orphanages, and he had even adopted two young
beautiful girls of his own, who were his pride and joy. He named one Fan, like his sister, and
Belle, like the name of the love of his life that he lost. Though he still wasn't married, he was happy
to be his daughter's favourite parent ( he was the only). Once again, someone else halted his
thoughts. His nephew, Fred, was asking when dinner was going to be served.

JBoxing Day
The aftermath of Christmas day still littered the dining room floor. A sea of red, green and
Disney princess wrapping paper. The stockings were still hung along the stair case, they didn't fit
on the fireplace. Each one hung empty, though the excitements of the previous day still lingered.
I sluggishly picked myself out of my bed and walked toward my little sisters room. I could hear
their small voices calling for me to help them out of their cribs. I lifted each twin out and onto the
wooden floor. As their small feet hit the floor they dashed for the stairs out of pure anticipation for
the exciting day ahead. I held their small hands as they climbed down the stairs precariously. First
up today was to take all our Christmas gifts up to our bedrooms to save our mum from going
ballistic about already broken toys.
We had a military operation on our hands, as my dad likes to say. We had to get all six kids plus
pregnant mum into the car and to our booked table at the family reunion in Alsager. Without any
unexpected trips to the emergency room. We packed up our things successfully and got the living
room back to an acceptable standard. Each child now had to get ready, the house turned to
mayhem really fast. I helped my sisters into their dresses and put their hair into braids and curls.
My mum dressed my baby brother, and before we knew it we were putting on our North Face
fleece jackets and were climbing into our Mercedes van. My parents refused

Descriptive Essay About Christmas
When you ask people what their favorite season is, you typically hear them say the spring or
summer. If you ask them why they like those two, you get the normal answers, like "I love the
fresh smell of blooming flowers, or the cold, shivering wind is not for me, I like the heat." Unlike
most, I love the cold, crisp breeze in the bright winter days. When I think of winter I think of being
bundled up in an electric blanket, sitting back watching Christmas shows on Hallmark with a nice,
warm cup of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, and wearing warm fuzzy socks with aloe in
them. The thing that makes winter the most amazing part is knowing Christmas is right around
the corner. Christmas may not be a big deal in all houses, but in my house, we know the usual
Christmas morning routine. The morning usually starts off by my dad getting up to start the
fresh pot of coffee, so when he comes to wake me up first, my day automatically starts off
smelling the strong, cozy scent of coffee. I do not know about everyone, but even though I love
Christmas it is so hard for me to get out of bed. Not because I am too lazy or tired, but having the
room be slightly chilly and being wrapped up in many layers of blanket keeping me warm is so
peaceful. Once I finally get the courage to get up I then remember I can not move, because seeing
my two fluffy dogs sound asleep laying right beside me makes me not want to wake them.
Eventually, once my dad makes his way into my room for maybe the third time, I know that I actually
do have to get up in order to see all the presents. When I do get the final urge to get up, I always try
my best to slowly move out of the bed not to wake the dogs, but it never works sadly.
After actually getting out of bed, I know that the only thing keeping me going throughout the day
is the coffee. Once I get the biggest cup of coffee I know, that is when my Christmas day could
only get better. Just as I always start to get warmed up with the coffee, I remember that I have to
go outside to fill up the wood stove. When I throw on my snow boots and big Carhartt jacket and
my large oversized working gloves. As I make my way through the strong wind, which makes it feel
like an eternity to

Christmas Descriptive Essay

  • 1. Descriptive Essay About Christmas I looked out the living room window and saw my parents hanging up our Christmas lights in the soft, falling snow. The aroma of gingerbread cookies floated in the air. I was wrapped up in a fuzzy, red blanket lounging on our black, leather couch, watching the Christmas special on tv. It was Christmas Eve so as usual my parents who were the last minute kind of people were hanging up the rest of our Christmas decorations and lights. Here in Riverbend Estates, everyone went all out with the Christmas decorations. Walking down our street was the most magical feeling. When I peered outside once more, I noticed that my parents were having trouble blowing up our huge, inflatable Santa Claus that sings carols. I knew that they would need my assistance, so I hopped off the couch, slid my feet into my soft winter boots, threw a coat on and headed out the door. As soon as I stepped out the door and the cool air blew softly against my face, arousing my long, blond hair, I could tell that this would be the most magical Christmas ever. The snow was softly falling and everybody's Christmas lights illuminated the whole street with a soft, Christmas glow. I then jogged over to where my parents were. They looked especially relieved to see me. "Boy are we glad to see you Belly!" my Dad announced. "I've told you a million times not to call me Belly! It sounds outragously ridiculous!" I cried out angrily, "Call me BELLA please!" "Ok Bella, I'm sorry," my dad apologized, laughing,"Look we need your help. There is a hole in Santa's hat. Can you please climb up this ladder and patch it up?" I agreed to help my parents as long as they gave me extra gingerbread cookies later. I climbed up the orange ladder, as my dad held onto it for extra support. When I reached the top of the ladder I could see the gaping hole in poor Santa's hat. As I reached out to patch the hole I suddenly lost my balance. I felt myself falling through the air, so I braced myself for impact. I heard my mom scream and then everything went black. It turns out that I didn't get knocked out. THere was simply a power outage. I felt kind of dizzy though so my dad scooped me up in his arms and brought me inside to lay on the couch for awhile. • 2. Descriptive Essay About Christmas Christmas is a time of joy, love, and laughter, and it's such a splendid and special time! The sights, smells, and tastes are so delightful, and they all fill my heart with glee and delight! I love the sweet smell of sugar cookies baking, twinkling Christmas lights, and shiny wrapping paper! In the 13 years that I have been alive, it's always been just me and my mom, and sometimes a pet. My mom is really special. She has a caring and loving heart, even though she's grouchy a lot. She likes Christmas, but it sometimes makes her sad. We never have a lot of money, and she thinks I deserve so much that I don't have, but I truly don't. This time of year is when you should spend time with your loved ones, and just enjoy the time we have...show more content... I walked up to the window, and watched the snow fall. The snowflakes fell to the ground slowly. They were crisp and cool, and each snowflake was different than the others. It was the perfect snow to make snowballs and snowmen! After a while, Mom and I had a Christmas movie marathon! We started with "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and ended with "Frosty the Snowman." Bella laid on the spot on the couch beside me, and fell asleep. She was breathing steadily, and she was very warm. During the middle of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," Bella decided to climb onto my lap and watch the movie with us. It was really fun! I decided to go outside and walk around after watching movies. I stopped and saw some carolers! They sung some beautifully! The women each wore a red and green dress with a matching scarf and black, furry boots, while the men wore a Christmas shirt (each was different, and so amazing!) with a black coat, black boots, a red scarf, and black pants. One even wore a black, shiny top hat! When I went back home, I turned on some Christmas music while drinking hot cocoa topped with whipped cream, chocolate curls, and festive sprinkles! At first, I listened to "A White Christmas," "Rudolph the Red–Nosed Reindeer," "Let It Snow," and the rest of the classics. Then, I started listening to more recent Christmas songs, like "I'll Be Home For Christmas," a cover by Meghan Trainor and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Sam Smith. • 3. Descriptive Essay About Christmas r 2017 "My favorite holiday" Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. I love seeing the shinny Christmas lights that decorates my street and the sound of fresh fallen snow on the ground. Christmas reminds me of family, the laughter and loved we shared, and the gifts we gave to each other. My house on Christmas became the center of my joy. I remember waking up on Christmas day with a huge smile on my face, heart full of joy, and my stomach barking. I can smell all the spices cooking down stairs. As soon as I got out of bed I will rushed down the steps into the kitchen to see what my mom had prepare for us on this special day. We had different variety of food turkey, stuffing, ham, bake beans, mac and...show more content... Me and my older cousins drag the box outside onto the front porch. As I begin to open the box my hands started trembling. I couldn't tell if my hands were shaking from the excitement or because it was five degrees outside. It took us two hours to put the hoop together. Our lips felt like icicles we were numb from head to toe, but it was worth every moment. It was the most beautiful basketball hoop I ever seen. It was candy apple red and the backboard had lights on it just in case I wanted to play in the dark. I thought Santa Claus gave me the coolest gift in the world. Later on in the evening I use to enjoy sitting in our cozy living room while, the fireplace was burning sipping on hot cocca and scoff down ginger bread cookies we made the night before. My family was always exchanging jokes. My brother Tito and my sister Titania love joking around, but my brother was a lot funnier than my sister. He was the jokester in the family. I remember this one particular joke my brother said about my aunt. He said she had a temptation hair style. I was hollering it was so funny because when you looked at her hair it did remind you of the singer group the Temptation. You would of thought she was a member of the group. I was laughing so hard tears were running down my face and I urinated a little on myself . My brother always made holidays so much fun. Christmas was very special to me because the feast my mother Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Descriptive Essay Christmas Christmas I sat awaiting all of my family members in the heat filled garage that would become much warmer as the night went on. It would be filled with loud laughter and cheering from my whole family. It would be smelling of grandma's ham she cooked and pretzel salad my mom makes every year. I'm getting anxious as i hear a car pull up outside crunching on the black gravel. I rush to the window and see my cousins step out of the car, I rush to the door to greet them with a big smile on my face. It is our annual family Christmas party and my cousins one a year older than me and one younger rush to give me a big hug at the door. I haven't seen them in a couple of months and we have all missed each other. My Aunt and Uncle sneak two presents into the garage while my grandma and grandpa give my cousins hugs. "Well hello there, come on in!" shouts my grandma excitedly. She gives them all kisses on the cheek and then my cousins and I run upstairs to the kitchen, away from all the loud noise. We all have three big grins on our faces when my brother comes in from the living room. He also is smiling and takes ashton in to the garage to play with the legos. Meghan and I await the rest of our family in the kitchen window. More people start showing up and my little cousin Kearson arrives. The garage in full of all sorts of voices now, for most of my large family has arrived. Meghan and I rush down the stairs greeted my a strong little hug from our favorite cousin. "Kearson!" • 5. Descriptive Essay About Christmas It is the day before Christmas Eve, "Christmas Adam" as my little sisters call it. The snow is quilted across West Jordan, but we brave the slick roads to shop for last minute gifts, extra Scotch tape, and candy. After gathering everything we could possibly need for the next two days, we wait in line at the register until New Year's– each minute feels like an entire day. The cashier makes small talk with Mom about the snowfall while my siblings and I bag. When the cashier gets to the ten, fist–sized bags of various candies, he pauses a beat. Then he continues, we are sure it's not the weirdest thing he has seen. Mom explains that we are decorating gingerbread houses, that's why we need so many kinds. It is clear to me that he did not necessarily want the backstory of our collection of sugar, but he nods anyway, in the perfect customer service way. After we have rung up, we head back home, fighting over whether we should listen to classic Christmas jams or Mom's 'Sting Holiday' Pandora radio. I get the final say, because I sit shotgun, and therefore am DJ. Once we get home it's an uphill battle to get everyone to help with the groceries, but once it's all inside we are relieved. Flash forward to Christmas Eve afternoon. We have just eaten lunch and are ready to make our gingerbread houses. Mom takes out the box and I help her construct the small houses. Once all five are ready, I send the little kids to bring over the neighbors. We put the gingerbread buildings and muffin tins of candy on the table, and from there, it's mass chaos. Fighting over the icing bag, crying when the last cinnamon Santa is gone, and making deals to get the good sweets. But through the mess, we are bonding. The two eight–year–olds (Gemma and Peyton) chat away, their voices a few decibels too loud. My brother (Jamison), eleven–year–old sister (Ava), and I all help each other plan what our houses will look like, despite knowing we each will make the same house as last year. Dad takes pictures with the camera used only a few times a year, for birthday parties and the Christmas season. Mom and Magen (our neighbor) laugh about the struggle of buying presents and when they both started shopping (to say August would be underexaggerating), and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Descriptive Essay About Christmas Growing up Christmas was by far my favorite holiday, and Santa was my favorite person. Every year I would sit down, rip a piece of paper out of my notebook, take my fuchsia colored crayon, and think long and hard about what I wanted from Santa. I would always get frustrated because I never knew if the toy I wanted was being made at the North Pole. My Mom would always reassure myself by saying, "Santa has helpers all around the world, so if he doesn't make a toy you want he will ask his helpers to find the toy you requested." This would always make me feel better about what toys I would choose. I began writing in detail about what I wanted. I would then put my letter in an envelope and address it to the North Pole. I would sit by the door patiently, every day waiting for the mailman to arrive to see if Santa would write back. Finally, after many days of waiting I received a letter from Mr. Claus. I remember looking at the envelope and seeing his name in big cursive letters. Santa had the most beautiful penmanship I had ever seen. Santa always made my dreams come true. As a little girl, I always wished for a Barbie dream house. A place where I could take my Barbie dolls and turn them into real life using my imagination. I woke up at the crack of dawn on Christmas morning, and ran downstairs to see my dreams had come true. Standing in the center of the living room was a 6 story high, bright pink, fully furnished Barbie dream house. I remember bursting into the room and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Descriptive Essay About Christmas It's Christmas Eve and I scurry about the house getting ready for the party. Sense I live by myself I had plenty of time to set up Christmas decorations and it was that ample time that made my house a vibrantly lit and covered in lavish decorations of Santa and his minions. The smell of ham permeated the air as I giddily pranced towards the oven putting on mittens to take out the supple honey ham. I brought my nose up close to the ham smelling deeply before I said "Aww that golden brown meat is cooked to perfection, supple and succulent" It was at that moment that there was a knock on the door. "Come on in," I hollered through the house," feal free to make yourselves at home." I set the ham down on the counter as I walked out of the kitchen to go and great my guest's. As I walked out I saw Sally running towards me. "Grandpa!" she exclaimed excitedly. I gave here an evaluating look saying, "My you've gotten big how old are you now?" She held up all the fingers in her dainty little–left hand before saying "I'm five now." "Wow already five years old your growing up so fast, making me feal so old, " I said while hunching my back over to look older than I already did. She looked at me confused while saying "But, you are old grandpa. Hey is there anything that you need help with?" "No sweaty, " I stated while giving her a warm smile," Now go sit down so grandpa can go talk with your dad." She took one more Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Descriptive Essay About Christmas Gift It was Christmas morning of 2006, and I woke up in glee excited to see the Christmas gifts under our Christmas tree. I was especially excited to open one very special gift because the week before I had spotted an iPod box in my parent's room. In my mind, I was so sure that the shiny new iPod was for me. See a couple months before I had printed out pictures of iPods and casually displayed them around the house. I was hinting to my mom how badly I wanted an iPod. Therefore, when Christmas morning came, I was fully prepared for that iPod. I had even practiced perfecting my surprised look for when I actually opened my gift. It was a magical morning until I actually opened my gift. There is a routine my family goes through every Christmas...show more content... I was shocked because every one of my older cousins got an iPod. My anger was only further fueled when I saw everyone else's iPods. I was so consumed by anger that I put my gift away as soon as our Christmas festivities were over. For the first couple of weeks after Christmas, I neglected the mp3. I put it in my drawer and refused to even think about it. I couldn't see past my immature emotions and realize how ungrateful I was being. I even remember a particular conversation I had with my mom about my mp3, where I had the perfect chance to repent. I was sitting in the living room doing my homework and she came up to me and asked me about my mp3. "Mi nina, why aren't you listening to your mp3? Your dad and I thought you would love it, but I've barely seen you use it," she said. "I just have a lot of school work Mami," I said quietly afraid that she would realize the true reason behind my lack of using it. She didn't question me further but I felt bad about lying to her. However, I still did not feel bad enough to actually use my mp3 player. Months came and went with it stored away in a drawer. It wasn't until one that I came face to face with the infamous mp3 player again. One afternoon my mom comes into my room yelling, "Jessica, you only have one job and that is to keep your room clean." I instantly knew she had seen my messy drawers and would make me clean them out. All I wanted was to yell back, "give me a break I have a lot of homework and I'm Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Descriptive Essay About Christmas Have you ever wondered how people have the most beautiful christmas decorations? Or wondered how to do it yourself? Their decorations look so cool and you wish that your house could look like that. Well, now your house can look like theirs too. I will tell you the steps to the success. The steps to decorate for the holidays. They will tell you everything from the tree, to the outside of your house and everywhere in between. The first step to decorating or doing anything is to have the christmas spirit. If you don't have the christmas spirit then I don't know what to tell you but none of the rest of the steps matter if you don't have the christmas spirit. It's almost like saying that you are professionally playing a sport that you know nothing about. Not happening! So if you are not in the christmas spirit then decorating will not be fun, entertaining or any kinds of easy. Things to get you in the christmas spirit would be going to the store and looking at the christmas section or looking on pinterest or google for inspiration. Even making christmas sweaters with your grandma may help. Do something festive to get your christmas spirit to the max. Next step to the process is getting everything ready to decorate your house. First off you have to bake the cookies that you are gonna eat whilst decorating. This step is key because you are going to get low on energy from the amount of decorating you are about to do so your blood sugar levels need to be off the charts. Now, when Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Descriptive Essay On Christmas Christmas Eve Lasagna In our house lasagna is a dish made for special occasions, my mom is the only one that makes it. Every year, before my grandfather passed away, my mom would make lasagna for my brother, father, grandfather, and I. When I was in elementary school my grandfather and grandmother got divorced, they couldn't even be in the same room together. Therefore, in order to be able to spend time with both of them during the holidays we would need to have two of each holiday. Christmas Eve is when we would have Christmas with my grandfather. Lasagna isn't just my favorite meal because it tastes good, it is the memories of my grandfather's strength and fight that are associated with it that makes the meal special. People often said that wherever my grandfather went he always made new friends or enemies. This explains his personality perfectly, he always made an everlasting impression, not afraid to voice his opinions. When I was around him he was always telling stories about his days of playing minor league baseball under the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins organizations or his days of being a K9 trooper for the New Hampshire State Police. He was someone that I admired and loved being around. Some of the best memories are the ones where we are sitting around the table on Christmas Eve eating our lasagna and munching on some garlic bread. Everything changed when he became sick, but he was a fighter. My grandfather wasn't going to let the lung cancer take Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Christmas Descriptive Writing On that momentous Christmas Eve of 2013, daubs of ashen grays, splattered specks of lapis, careless streaks of pale lavender, and muted, chalky whites were smeared across the blank canvas sky, barely concealing the cold, distant stars. The sliver of the moon that was shaped as though it were a narrow, shining claw, was tied to the edge of a low hanging cloud with a thin, wisp of a string. Millions of the beautiful feathery, ice crystals were brutally thrown toward the Earth, onto the frosted, dead grass, where they joined their companions in a heap of broken, mangled snowflakes. For the ecclesiastical holiday, scintillating lights were intertwined with newly bought, plastic reindeer scattered across the yard, along with a snowman with a crooked,...show more content... I choked on my warm drink, and my eyes widened significantly. "You weren't suppose to leave for another eleven months!" I screeched, the edges of my vision starting to blur from tears. "I've known you for five years." I had said, as quiet as she. With a whimper, I examined my festive knee high socks and took another mouthful of drink. Chloe fiddled with the edge of her caramel, shoulder–length hair and had given me a lifeless, emerald green stare. "I have a gift for you!" She then exclaimed, her eyes suddenly brightening as though remembering something important. "Here!" She handed me a rectangular object ingeniously wrapped, with two red ribbons interlaced to one another into my hands. Carefully, I had untied the bow, and tore off the wrapping paper. In the container was a thick book, encased in a dark leather binding. Chloe stood behind me. With caution, I opened the book and inside was an array of pictures each with captions. In a few of the plastic sleeves, various objects, sometimes a handful of Hilton Head Island sand, or a chain with two silver hearts linked together. • 12. Descriptive Essay About Christmas Holiday We walk in and the atmosphere fills me with joy; I hear children yelling on roller coasters, the amazing aroma of greasy, fried pork rinds, seeing smiles everywhere, it just sets the mood of having a great day. My family and I are at the famous theme park, Silver Dollar City. We have had a lasting tradition of visiting, every Christmas holiday and enjoying the sights and sounds of this amazing place. Our first stop is the store, Christmas Hollow, where Christmas is everywhere. Bright lights are throughout the whole store, while the smell of cinnamon and peppermint fill the air. I walk very carefully; not wanting to break any of the very fragile glass all around me. Finally, my favorite item, the nutcrackers; even though I have a crowd of them at home, I always want another. I love the way they stand so tall and so straight, almost as if they were real. As I walk out of the store, a huge sign catches my eye announcing the showing of "The Christmas Carol" at 1pm. Since it is not quite that time, I go and grab a burger and a Coke. The burger tastes so much better than an average burger, mostly because I haven't eaten all day. When I bite into the burger I hear the pickles and lettuce crunch, the taste of the pickles makes me quench for a second, but the taste of the seasoned burger is scrumptious. The cold Coke tasted just as good, with the sweet and bubbly zing hydrating my mouth. Finishing my lunch, I headed towards the theater. I still cannot get over how pretty the view Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Descriptive Essay On Christmas The day I got four Christmases began with a fiery sunrise whose golden arcs of color dotted my path as I made my way across the matted, gray carpet that snaked up the walls. I walked down the stairs, making sure to step on my toes first to ensure a quiet descent. No one in my family was awake yet, and I was surrounded on all sides by disillusioning silence as in all early hours of the morning. Directed only by the sunlight filtering in through the upper windows, I managed to pick my way across the furniture to the fireplace. We didn't have a Christmas tree, and at seven years old, I longed for the splendor of a beautiful evergreen tree adorned with iridescent fairy lights. All we had was a wreath my mother had hung up on the front door, and it didn't even have ornaments on it. At the fireplace, I picked up one of three presents wrapped up in royal blue paper, crinkling the crisp edges under my grip. It was solid, and didn't respond to my vigorous shaking. Exasperated, I gave up on my search and made a defeated trek back up to my room to wait for the other. After at least seven years, my siblings finally woke up and my parents began making breakfast, a tradition we have on Sunday mornings. Even as the scent of potatoes and eggs filled the house, all I was hungry for was my gift. But eventually the time came, and my siblings and I gathered around the fireplace while my parents looking on with steaming cups of coffee in ridiculous snowman cups. I tore open the packaging, much Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Descriptive Essay For Christmas December is much less a month and more so an extended holiday, for the entire month is time to prepare for Christmas. Everything in the stores, on the TV, on the radio, and in everyone's houses revolves around the holiday. Christmas is a time to celebrate with music, festivities, and food, or should I say Christmas desserts. I love the sugary sweets that make my mouth water all year round until finally the month comes to bake and eat the variety of treats. Oreo balls, peanut butter balls, chocolate covered pretzels, fudge, caramels, and all the other creative ways to combine the most unhealthy ingredients complete the holiday season, yet my favorite dessert is a classic Christmas sugar cookie, a soft star shaped cookie layered with sweet yellow frosting and dipped in a chilled glass of milk. The second weekend in December is always cookie–making weekend at Grandma's. Traditionally, we grandkids spend the night on Saturday to help her bake the sugar cookies; however, she has already made two batches during the day, so we help her with the third batch. First, we gather all the ingredients; two cups of butter, two cups of sugar, four eggs, two tablespoons of milk, six cups of flour, and six teaspoons of baking powder. Grandma takes out her largest glass bowl, and we beat the butter until it is creamy, for about one minute. Slowly, we add the sugar and mix it until the ingredients blend into a light and fluffy mixture, making my mouth water due to the sweet smell. While my Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. When my family gets together for a holiday, food is always a very big issue especially because we are a Filipino family. One Christmas, I remember we had a large amount of food. It was December 2012, and for the first time Christmas was held at our house that year. We had prepared for the Christmas party weeks in advance. All the decorations and lights were up around the house and the Christmas tree was beautifully lit like a clear night sky, with the star brightly shining at the top. Coming to our house for Christmas, we had family come from up and down the California coast. Everyone was going to be at my house for Christmas, my grandparents Dina and Rudy, my aunts Maria, Madean, Charmine, Emily, Minda, Christine, and Sydney, my...show more content... Everyone with their plates full of food, ready to eat sat together at the dining room table. We had to add tables so everyone and the food could fit. Our family never really had a separate kid's table and adult table. Everyone just sat at one table together as one big happy family. After eating our Christmas feast, it was then time for desserts and how sweet they were. My mom's Aunt Emily brought homemade batches of chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies, which were her own special recipe. Before everyone arrived, I baked moist chocolate brownies with white chocolate chips and dolapped a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each. Meanwhile, the devil's food cake was covered in a shiny glaze of sweet chocolate and topped with snowman sprinkles. In addition, my Grandmother Dina had made taron, a banana wrapped in an egg roll that is deep fried and then later is topped with a sprinkle of sugar. Of course, the rice cakes were to die Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Descriptive Essay On Christmas Though it was usually cold in Scrooge's house, the people and joy spread warmth everyone, hugging them like a blanket. It was Christmas Eve, the year after the ghosts had visited Scrooge, and he had to admit this was the best Christmas by far, next to the one he spent at Mr. Fezziwig's. During all this festiveness, Scrooge started pondering about his past Christmases, and how they had been so very dull and lifeless. He had been so obsessed with not wasting money that he didn't even have a fire going to save the money on the coal. Someone interrupted his thoughts. Bob Cratchit had come over and asked him if he would like some punch. He remembered how little he used to pay Bob, so little that the bird they ate was only a quarter of the size of the one now at the party, and he couldn't even afford toys for his children. Nowadays, Bob got a better, more sustainable wage, good enough to help Tiny Tim, his son. He constantly donated money and visited the orphanages, and he had even adopted two young beautiful girls of his own, who were his pride and joy. He named one Fan, like his sister, and Belle, like the name of the love of his life that he lost. Though he still wasn't married, he was happy to be his daughter's favourite parent ( he was the only). Once again, someone else halted his thoughts. His nephew, Fred, was asking when dinner was going to be served. Scrooge had completely forgotten about dinner! Why he hadn't even started cooking! • 18. Descriptive Essay About Christmas Day JBoxing Day The aftermath of Christmas day still littered the dining room floor. A sea of red, green and Disney princess wrapping paper. The stockings were still hung along the stair case, they didn't fit on the fireplace. Each one hung empty, though the excitements of the previous day still lingered. I sluggishly picked myself out of my bed and walked toward my little sisters room. I could hear their small voices calling for me to help them out of their cribs. I lifted each twin out and onto the wooden floor. As their small feet hit the floor they dashed for the stairs out of pure anticipation for the exciting day ahead. I held their small hands as they climbed down the stairs precariously. First up today was to take all our Christmas gifts up to our bedrooms to save our mum from going ballistic about already broken toys. We had a military operation on our hands, as my dad likes to say. We had to get all six kids plus pregnant mum into the car and to our booked table at the family reunion in Alsager. Without any unexpected trips to the emergency room. We packed up our things successfully and got the living room back to an acceptable standard. Each child now had to get ready, the house turned to mayhem really fast. I helped my sisters into their dresses and put their hair into braids and curls. My mum dressed my baby brother, and before we knew it we were putting on our North Face fleece jackets and were climbing into our Mercedes van. My parents refused Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 20. Descriptive Essay About Christmas When you ask people what their favorite season is, you typically hear them say the spring or summer. If you ask them why they like those two, you get the normal answers, like "I love the fresh smell of blooming flowers, or the cold, shivering wind is not for me, I like the heat." Unlike most, I love the cold, crisp breeze in the bright winter days. When I think of winter I think of being bundled up in an electric blanket, sitting back watching Christmas shows on Hallmark with a nice, warm cup of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, and wearing warm fuzzy socks with aloe in them. The thing that makes winter the most amazing part is knowing Christmas is right around the corner. Christmas may not be a big deal in all houses, but in my house, we know the usual Christmas morning routine. The morning usually starts off by my dad getting up to start the fresh pot of coffee, so when he comes to wake me up first, my day automatically starts off smelling the strong, cozy scent of coffee. I do not know about everyone, but even though I love Christmas it is so hard for me to get out of bed. Not because I am too lazy or tired, but having the room be slightly chilly and being wrapped up in many layers of blanket keeping me warm is so peaceful. Once I finally get the courage to get up I then remember I can not move, because seeing my two fluffy dogs sound asleep laying right beside me makes me not want to wake them. Eventually, once my dad makes his way into my room for maybe the third time, I know that I actually do have to get up in order to see all the presents. When I do get the final urge to get up, I always try my best to slowly move out of the bed not to wake the dogs, but it never works sadly. After actually getting out of bed, I know that the only thing keeping me going throughout the day is the coffee. Once I get the biggest cup of coffee I know, that is when my Christmas day could only get better. Just as I always start to get warmed up with the coffee, I remember that I have to go outside to fill up the wood stove. When I throw on my snow boots and big Carhartt jacket and my large oversized working gloves. As I make my way through the strong wind, which makes it feel like an eternity to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
