2. PROFESSIONAL CAREER DETAILS
SuperAdviser – ING Direct (Sept14 – June15)
SuperAdviser is a Superannuation project which manages advisers and helps customers to apply for
superannuation online by Advisers. The middleware solution communicates with internal and external
systems (MetLife) using Web services was implemented using JBoss 6.1, Hibernate, Java Web
Services, Maven, SOA architecture, SQL Server, UNIXand Visual Studio.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for successfulimplementation of SuperAdviser project and was a key resource
for middleware component called Direct Gateway Solution.
Responsible for design and development of number of web services using SOA architecture.
The solution was integrated using Hibernate with backend (SQL Server & Mainframe
Systems).
Build using Maven; Unit tested the solution using Arquillian.
Remote Services – SP-AusNet (April 14 – June15)
With the introduction of smart meters in Victoria, the client implemented a large project to facilitate
customers for Remote operations (Connect, Disconnect and Reprogram smart meters). Was Subject
Matter Expert for Remote Services and received a prize as an outstanding contributor from client for
successfulimplementation of project. The solution was integrated using Java technologies including
Web Services, Java Spring, SOAP UI,Eclipse, UNIX, Seibel, Tomcat and Oracle.
Responsibilities include:
Design and implementation of Remote Services and EIP7.6 Upgrade changes.
Supported System Testing, End to End Testing and UAT for Remote Services
Played Key technical role in Dress Rehearsals and Cut-Over (project implementation).
Performance testing using SOAP & LOAD UI and identified the performance issues across
applications.
Veda Check Enhancements – Veda (July2012 – Jan2013)
VedaCheck.com is a front-end web interface that provides customer with access to Veda Advantage
Information Services and Solutions. With VedaCheck.com one can access a range of reports that now
combine consumer and commercial credit information. The goal of the project is to provide major
enhancements to Veda check web application. The solution was integrated using Rational Application
Developer (RAD),Web Sphere, Struts, Hibernate, spring and JPA. The Project was developed using
Agile Scrum Methodology.
Responsibilities include:
Involved in sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, backlog grooming: story time and sprint
retrospective meetings and the tool JIRA was used.

Anti Money Laundering (AML) – Westpac (July2010 – May2012)
NORKOM Technologies provides financial crime and compliance software to the global financial
services industry. The aim of project was to provide a solution to comply with the AML/CTF
legislation, regulated by the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) using
NORKOM technologies. The solution was developed and integrated using NORKOM Application,
Control-M, Visio, SQL Developer and UNIX shell scripting.
Responsibilities include:
Design and Implementation of AUSTRAC reporting modules and responsible for six
quarterly releases resulting in number of Batch, UI changes in NORKOM.
Developed implementation schedule and incorporating Control-M, Batch,UI changes and
back- out plan.
Responsible for guiding team and developed technical scripts in implementation process
including DB Scripts, Production verification scripts, Back out scripts, shell scripts and
Control-M changes.
Customer Online Banking – Bendigo Bank (July2009 – June2010)
The goal of the project is to revamp the Bank’s online banking platform primarily involving
Accounts, payments and Transfer Funds modules. A framework based on MVC Design pattern was
used to develop project and number of design changes were applied resulting in better performance
and maintenance of application. The solution was integrated using Java enterprise technologies
including EJB, WAM framework, MQ Interface to RFS, IBM Rational software Architect, Harvest
CM Workbench and SQL Server.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for enhancements across Accounts,Payments and Transfer funds modules, Rural
Bank integration changes
Design and Implementation of Transactions download module which allows customers to
download transactions in a specific file format
Medical Insurance processing - iSelect (Aug2008 – Oct2008)
The project was for one of leading insurance brokers in Australia where customers can compare and
choose/apply various insurance products either by their website or calling/chatting with the operator
in health, motor and other insurance sectors. The project helps Customers and Call centre operators to
choose an insurance product, apply for a medical insurance by providing their data. The solution was
integrated with Hibernate, Spring, JavaScript, Tomcat, Oracle, Eclipse, TOAD and Dreamweaver
using Agile methodology.

Server side enhancements were developed using the latest technologies at the time of
development including Hibernate, Spring and Struts2.
Developed frontend screens using JavaScript, DHTML including validation algorithms for
Medicare and Credit card
Traffic Incident System (TIS) – Victorian Police (Sept2006 – Sept2007)
Traffic Incident System helps police personnel to register accident details electronically and helps all
related government organizations for data analysis and decision making. The project was developed
using layered architecture (presentation, service, business, persistence, and External Application
Interfacing). Java messaging service and TIBCO (Middleware service) was used for data exchange
with the external systems.

Wily Introscope and addressed other major defects.
Admin Hardware Browser – Nokia (June2005 – Feb2006)
Hardware Browser is an application developed for a Nokia headquartered in Finland. Hardware
Browser is an intranet application that helps the administrators of organization to search network
elements using various attributes and logical operators. A 3 tier architecture application where the
user request is handled by Servlets and the results were retrieved from database/repository using Perl
Script, CORBA and Enterprise java beans in XML format.XML is parsed by SAX parser and results
were displayed using JSP and JavaScript combination.
Responsibilities include:
Provided estimations and Prototype for Hardware Browser project
Designed the application using MVC architecture and Rational Rose

Developed Apps on android platform which are helpful to educational institutions. These apps
use SQLite database for data storage. Cursors, adapters and List views are used for displaying
data and Intents for communication between screens (Activities). Project is setup on Eclipse

Engaged in an assignment for Veda Advantage for a project called Credit Bureau Approval
Processing and developed business path customers (ANZ,CBA) using Decision Link

development of solution with CRC cards,TogetherJ, class diagram, Sequence Diagrams and

Was a team leader for a supporting group of 4 members for a second largest semi conductor
manufacturing company in world at Singapore (UMCi) for a project called Automated
Material Handling Systems. Identified critical bugs in FOUP (A closed and transportation
