The Oncology Day Care Hospital is a modern day care unit, which responds and supports the needs of
oncological patients, providing treatment for various types of cancer; breast, colon and rectum,
prostate, uterus, stomach, esophagus, lung , melanoma, chronic leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma,
among others.
This Unit has a team of medical and nursing staff and is equipped with 4 modern, comfortable
armchairs in 2 private temperature-controlled suites, with a sterile pressurized room for the preparation
of medication, called cytoreductive chemotherapy, used to treat cancer, regress the disease, delay its
progression or contribute to the improvement of symptoms.
Treatment is administered orally or intravenously.

families. This is why we have created these holiday programs: so that people can truly enjoy a holiday
without the constant tension and worry about having their Dialysis treatments.
Together with APIR (Portuguese Association of Kidney Failure) we have prepared a wide range of
holiday packages that include treatments in nearby health partner's clinics that will ensure high quality
services for individuals or groups of up to 10 people.
Our Staff has the knowledge of special needs and are trained in the handling of those patients with
renal failure. They share the sensibility and motivation which led us to developing these programs
in the first place.
All our suggestions for holiday destinations are well located from our Dialysis Network, with a
maximum distance of 30 minutes by bus. Private transfer from the hotel to the nearest Clinic is included!
