Vaikundaraja Feels Flipkart Apology Is Not Up To The Mark
1. Vaikundaraja Feels Flipkart Apology Is Not Up
To The Mark
Vaikundarajan felt that the apology furnished by
Flipkart co-founders Binny and Sachin for the Big Billion
Day fiasco did not justify the size of inconvenience
caused to nationwide customers.
2. The way they began saying, “An unprecedented 1.5
million people shopped at Flipkart yesterday”, only felt
like salt on the wounds of those 1.5 million people who
did not get the chance to purchase the products they
wished to buy.
Vaikundarajan felt that they could have explained
better. They called it The Big Billion Day, while prepared
only for a couple of million customers, how is that
justified? This was bound to happen, and it was their
job to be prepared.
Simply by saying that this will not be repeated again,
doesn’t change things. They said they took seven years
to earn the trust of Indian customers, however, it took
just a few seconds to lose the goodwill. This was not
even the first time something like this happened. We
saw incidents like these even when Flipkart sold Xiaomi
Mi3 phones, also the Moto G Launch.
It has become a recurring issue for Flipkart and we still
haven’t got into the logistics.
