4.  In WGS, we believe:
 every student is a leader, everyone can be
trained into a great leader.
 leadership is not being in certain position, it is
the heart, the attitude and the skills that
determine your leadership. Because you may be
given a leadership position and you might not
have any follower.
 The purpose to lead is to serve.

 Are you managing your time well?
 Are you doing your homework or copying your
homework?
 Are you coming to school on time?
 Do you attend CCA regularly?
 Do you have a personal dream and ambition?
 How are your relationships with your family
members?
 How are your relationship with your peers?
What is Personal Leadership?

6.  Self-check:
 Do you have the moral courage to correct your friends when
your friend did something wrong?
 Do you have the moral courage to say “No” when you are
asked to do something which is not morally right?
 Have you ever lead a small group of peers (2 – 3 members)?
Perhaps in lower sec project work, in class presentation, In VIA.
 Was your team able to work towards a common goal? Do you
understand the strength and weakness of your team? Were you
able to manage the good relationships between the team
members?
 Some opportunities in WGS:
 Any student who would like to initiate, class project leader,
lower sec project work group leader, class presentation group
leader.

 Have you ever serve and lead a slightly bigger group of
peers (e.g a team of more than 10 members)? Perhaps in
your class VIA, in projects, in CCA, in your interest groups.
 Were you able to manage the good relationships between
the team members?
 Did you have a common goal for the team members?
 Were you trying to give commands to your peers or serving
your peers?
 Some opportunities in WGS:
 Any student who would like to initiate, CMC, subject rep
in class, CCA leaders, sports leaders, student councillors.

 Have you ever try to influence a group of friends to
reach out to the meet the needs of the community?
 Do you think that there are genuine needs in the
society and we as students have the ability to meet
those needs?
