 How is the Issue Geographic.
 Include a Map,1 Concept (how it applies) , 2 x
Effects (S.E.E.)
 How big is it ? What are the natural or cultural
characteristics of this, where is it ?
 30 seconds
The Standard
 Outline two solutions to the issue
 Give a brief description of the solutions to the
issue
 Outline the solutions to the issue = 30 seconds
only. Cost people involved/affected, where it is –
include a picture or map.
The Standard
 “Fully Explain how people’s responses/opinions
on the issue are a result of their values or
Perceptions”
 The important word here is “responses” what did
people DO (wrote to the paper, said something in
an interview, told someone, published something,
protested) and why did they do it ?
The Standard
 Propose a solution to the Issue
 “I think that …. Should be done”
 AND
 Justify why it is better than the other option
outlined ,
 This is better than … because …
 The others are not as good as this because…
 This is a very important point/factor
The Standard
 Use in depth strengths and weaknesses to Justify
the option chosen. (costs, sizes, people affected)

 You must show a holistic understanding of the
Issue and solutions ( overall this is better
because … these are minor effects … but this is a
huge effect … )
Tips …
 5 Minutes
 Write a script if you like.
 Photos, maps and diagrams on the PPT
 Learn all about the presentation in case Mr Smith
asks you questions to bump you up a grade !
 Its not scary … its reeeeeeeally easy

The Standard  “Fully Explain how people’s responses/opinions on the issue are a result of their values or Perceptions”  The important word here is “responses” what did people DO (wrote to the paper, said something in an interview, told someone, published something, protested) and why did they do it ?
  • 5. The Standard  Propose a solution to the Issue  “I think that …. Should be done”  AND  Justify why it is better than the other option outlined ,  This is better than … because …  The others are not as good as this because…  This is a very important point/factor
  • 6. The Standard  Use in depth strengths and weaknesses to Justify the option chosen. (costs, sizes, people affected)   You must show a holistic understanding of the Issue and solutions ( overall this is better because … these are minor effects … but this is a huge effect … )
  • 7. Tips …  5 Minutes  Write a script if you like.  Photos, maps and diagrams on the PPT  Learn all about the presentation in case Mr Smith asks you questions to bump you up a grade !  Its not scary … its reeeeeeeally easy
