Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the world of web 2.0 group collaboration and you. I’m anticipating that by the end of my presentation, you all will have a few more tools to add to your teaching toolbox and even some that you use in your private life. The focus is on group collaboration tools since online group projects are inherently challenging, but I’ve also created a list incorporating all types that I’ll email you. It’s my hope that with a few examples of some of my favorites, you’ll want to research a few, play around with them and find your own favorites.
That being said…(next slide)
In today’s technological landscape, that pretty much sums up how I feel! As I was researching my presentation and looking at my favorite tools then searched some new ones, I truly didn’t recognize one application so doesn’t that just increase your confidence in my presentation!! Okay, now that we’ve established my breadth of knowledge, I’ll introduce you to some folks who will help me explain Web 2.0.
Who better than the digital natives to explain to us digital immigrants them true meaning of Web 2.0.

Then how would you describe Web 2.0?
If Web 1.0 was static, one-way and used basically for surfing and downloading, then what do you think Web 2.0 involves?
Are you ready for this?? Visually overwhelming at times like my slide!
My bubbl.us group project to illustrate the standards for the 21st Century Learner.
