Wayne undertook several home renovation projects including demolishing and reconstructing the driveway after discovering a major crack, demolishing and rebuilding the front entryway after the brick walk was settling unevenly, and building a retaining wall in the front yard. With help from friends and family, Wayne completed the projects over the course of several years, transforming the front of the home and making it more inviting.

3. Before… It would be Spring 2008 before Wayne tackled the front yard.

4. Driveway Demolition Looked pretty when we bought it, but a crack in the driveway revealed a major repair was needed, in addition to straightening the weird curve. What a job THIS would be!

6. Driveway Reconstruction What next? Well… there’s that front entry that’s already half demolished and waiting for a new patio.

7. Front Entry Demolition Loved the tile Wayne put down when he did the foyer, but the cramped, narrow brick walk was settling unevenly; Wayne found a 4 ft deep hole below the porch; and he needed a new project.
