You need to sign up for Google Plus to
use Google Handouts.
Sign up by clicking on the Plus in the
black bar at the top of your email.

Add your favorite musicians, writers, athletes
and entertainers to see what they’re saying right
now, or join Communities that match your
passions.

8. Start or join a Hangout
Bring your conversations to
life by starting or joining a
Hangout. Connect with friends
across computers, Android and
Apple devices. Turn any Hangout into a live
video call with up to 10 friends or simply search
for a contact to start a voice call from your
computer.
