Fencing is a combat in which two people try to
touch each other with a light thin sword.

sabre and épée.

-Foil is a long, flexible sword; it's made of
stainless steel, and it is 0.500 kg and 1.10 m
long, with a rectangular sheet.
-A sable is 90 cm long and weighs 500 g.
-Épée is a two-edged knife, a straight blade.

4. Competitive fencing.
Fencing is governed by Fédération
Internationale d'Escrime or FIE. Today,
its head office is in Switzerland.
