The DICHE WebApp allows narrated videos to be simply produced from audio recordings and photos and is designed to promote the 4Cs: Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication and Collaboration.

2. To start using the DICHE App you will need to log into Dropbox. If you do not have a
Dropbox account you can easily sign up, it is free!
3. Once you have logged in using your Dropbox account, the app will take you to the home
screen.
4. On the home page a tutorial window will appear, you can leave the step-by-Step Tutorial on
or unclick the box.
5. You can now create a new project by clicking on the new button or by using the dropdown
menu you can continue an existing project.
6. By clicking on the menu button in the upper right-hand corner, this will open the menu bar
on the left side.
7. The first step you will need to do is to upload an audio file. To upload your audio file, click
on Load button.
8. By clicking on the load button, a window will appear containing all the files in your Dropbox.
If you have not uploaded your file, you can do so by clicking upload.
9. Once you have uploaded your audio file, you can now start adding photos and title boards.
Use the time line to set when the photo will start.
10. You can create title and credits by clicking on the word section in the menu. Once you have
created your image you can save it in your Dropbox.
11. After choosing when the title or credits will start, you choose to upload the image from
Dropbox the same way you did the audio file.
12. Your words image will the upload to the app. From here you can then remove an image or
add a new one. Remember when adding a new image you need to choose a starting time by
scrolling in the audio line.
13. Continue to add images by clicking add. You can find your image from the Dropbox window
or upload a new image to Dropbox.
14. Once you have finished adding your images and are happy with your digital story click on
render in the menu. Once the render page opens click on render.
15. Now that the video has rendered it has been saved in the drop box folder. You can accesses
your video from Dropbox and view it at anytime.
