19. Letter Writing Guidelines
Use school technology tools responsibly.
Set margins to 1 inch.
Set line spacing to double space – 2.0.
Choose a readable font style – Capitals with lowercase, no
cursive.
Set font size to 14 pt.
Align the heading to the right.
Align the greeting, body and closing to the left.
Indent paragraphs using the tab key.
Utilize word wrapping on the body of the text.
Run spell check.
Save the document to the teacher assigned location.
Print one copy of the document in portrait view to the
appropriate printer.
