Opendream is a technology startup established in 2007 located in HuaiKhwang, Thailand with 16 current staff. Their mission is to utilize information and communication technologies to create a social benefit collaboration platform for organizations in Southeast Asia. They provide technology consulting, web application development, IT crowdsourcing, and online community building.
The project objectives were to understand the values of Opendream's leader and staff, beyond just what they do but why. Interviews with the leader revealed his terminal values are social contribution and freedom, and instrumental values are being responsible to society and enabling change. Staff questionnaires showed their shared values are being open-minded, helpful, loving, and creating happiness and freedom.
