2. Introduction
• Puzzling to see how people (including Christians)
live
– Not giving careful thought or consideration
– Choices have consequences (Good & Bad)
– There’s a proper way to doing anything. Find & Do!
– Want to live life well, go to the source
• In Life, any other way than the way God directs
brings ruinous consequence(s) – Provb 3:1-6

3. 2 Tim 2:15!
• The End/Objectives for everyone
– God’s approval
• Thereby avoiding shame
– Understanding objectives will help drive one’s
actions, even getting priorities right
• Our text defines an end or objective
• Then spells out a sequence or flow to guide our
actions or conduct
• Study Work (Live) Judgement Outcome
(Approval or Shame)

4. Study?
– Give Diligence…(ASV)
– Work hard … (NLT)
– Do your best (GNT)
– Make every effort…(NET)
– Others use Strive, Endeavour, consider carefully..
– Study
• Word is light - Psalm 119:105;
• Live by every word from mouth of God – Matt 4:4
• Life & Godliness - 2Pet 1:3-7
• Abide in Christ & His word in you, you get result – John
15:7

honour
• Good quality result requires industry, diligence &
application
– Co-labourer with God - 1Cor3:9-15)

whether of unskillfulness or unfaithfulness)
