           What is the main issue?

      3. Is the position of the writer already stated in the introduction?

           What are the different positions relating to the issue?
      4.

           What are the details used to justify each position? Are they convincing?
      5.

           Do the details connect with the positions?
      6.
Is the conclusion and final choice of position strong enough to make

     someone change their mind?
