5. Did you enjoy the film? If so, why?
“Yes, it was a very sweet and fulfilling
story.”
“I really enjoyed this short film. The
storyline was really heart warming, and the
song choices were excellent.”
“Yes. It has a very strong sense of passion
towards it, and the message it sent was
easy to convey.”

6. What was your favourite part of
the short film?
 “The part when the couple were dancing
when they were old.”
 “The end, where Emily and Thomas were
dancing.”
 “The elderly Thomas and Emily dancing in
the living room.”
 “I really liked the range of music that was
used.”

7. What were your views on the
storyline of “In Unison”?
“Simple and clear to understand.”
“It shows that the bond of friendship is
strong and can become much more.”
“I thought it was really clever how it went
from the 80’s to the present (sort of)”.
“It was easy to follow but still very
effective.”

that you didn’t understand?
“Nope .”

locations used in “In Unison”?
 “Could’ve used a more URBAN atmosphere.”
 “The locations used were very effective.”
 “They suited the film very well.”
 “They were varied but at times it was
obvious that they were in the same
locations.”

10. What is your opinion on the
acting?
 “It was very good.”
 “I thought the acting was really good, portrayed
the emotions well.”
 “They both put on a really good performance.”
 “The acting was excellent.”
 “The acting was good. However, it (not always)
seemed a bit unnatural.”

11. Would you recommend “In
Unison” to others? If so, why?
 “I believe it is in some need of
improvement.”
 “Yes, it’s a film that makes you think.”
 “Yes, everyone has to see this!”
 “Yes, because the storyline was good and I
enjoyed it so I think others would too.”

12. What is your opinion on the music
used in “In Unison”?
 “It was perfect. ‘The Chain’ was my
favourite, made me feel emotional.”
 “I really liked it, there was a good variety.”
 “I thought it really helped with the
atmosphere.”
 “Good. Powerful sense.”

13. Which parts of “In Unison” were
most effective? Why is this?
 “The transition from being young to old. It
was just emotional.”
 “When they lost the competition because
they show that determination and hard
work can lead to success.”
 “The kiss was effective; showed his love.”

14. Which parts of “In Unison” were
least effective? Why is this?
 “None.”
 “Maybe the quality of the dialogue. The
acting was fine but the audio quality wasn’t
the best at times.”
 “The microphone for the commentator.”

 “There were no ‘least effective parts’.”
