ten or more critical thinking questions for the
class to discuss and gain a deeper
understanding of the chapter
Create a 20 question multiple choice test
with an answer key on Quizlet. Make sure
to have four possible answers to each
question with 2 possible answers, one
being the best.
Write a guest blog post for Dr.
Haiken’s blog

Discussing how and why TKAM is
still relevant today (500 words
maximum).
Write an essay, in class,
on one of four possible topics related to the
novel.
Participate in a Twitter discussion of the
story with four or more other students in
this class addressing key themes in the
novel. Capture the conversation on

transcript for your teacher.
Create a poetry anthology with five
poems that connect to TKAM on
Voicethread. Say or write out the
poem online and Included a
detailed explanation connecting the
poem and the novel. For extra
credit, write your own poem about
the novel.
Create a cartoon using Toondoo create a comic
version of four important chapters or events in
To Kill a Mockingbird.
Using Prezi, create a timeline of events for
TKAM. Be sure to include images and text
to illustrate the key events throughout the
novel.
