The 42nd Khajuraho Dance Festival began in the temple town of
Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh. It is a one-week-long festival of classical
dances, organised by the Madhya Pradesh Kala Parishad. The
Khajuraho Dance Festival is celebrated every year from 20th-26th
February.
The festival showcased various Indian classical dance styles,
including Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi and Kuchipudi. Modern Indian
dance has also been added recently.The dances are performed in an
open-air auditorium, usually in front of the Chitragupta Temple
dedicated to Surya (the Sun God) and the Vishwanatha Temple
dedicated to Lord Shiva.

5. India's first indigenously-built (means made in India with
Indian technology) nuclear armed submarine "INS Arihant
nuclear missile submarine" is now ready for real time
operations. It has passed several deep sea diving drills and
weapons launch tests.
These tests were conducted at off Vishakhapatnam coast
where the submarine was build.
INS Arihant which means "Slayer of Enemies". It was launched
on 26 July 2009 on the anniversary of Vijay Diwas (Kargil War
Victory Day) by the then Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan
Singh.
